Second Graders, I am loving your seed diaries!  They are so awesome!  I found this video that you may be interested in seeing.  It is a time lapse video of basil plants growing.  What they do is keep a camera on the plants for a certain amount of time and every minute or so the camera takes a picture.  After the period of time is over, they take all the pictures that were taken and put them together and speed up the viewing.  It is really cool.  You can see the basil leaves streching like so many of you said.  I think it is also really interesting to see them reaching and turning towards the sun looking for food, again like so many of you said.
