An optical illusion is a picture or structure that seems to be what it’s not.If this sounds confusing to you I understand. there are many different types of illusions. Some are real life objects, some are just there when you adjust the angle of the page, and some are just drawn and don’t make sense. This optical illusion on the left is an actual physical shape. If you look at it from a certain angle it appears as an illusion. Some illusions need absolute focus. Many people try to draw or sketch an illusion but it is much harder than it looks. Hey there not called illusions for nothing. Most illusions were made from 1700′s-1900′s. Some illusions were even made by mistake or some were made from inspiration. All illusions have one thing in common: they look odd. Illusions can be found in museums, displayed at stores, books, and other places. By the way see if you can figure out how this illusion. Leave a comment about it once you do.

Story (short version):
Kids always put their tooth under their pillow when they fall out. But not Gordan. He always saved his teeth that fell out. Gordan knows that grandparents are always very nice. So he took grandparents kindness to the limit. Gordan would wait for an elder to walk by the candy store and fake a bike crash and spit out 2 or 3 of his old teeth. The elder would rush over, notice the candy store and buy him some ice cream.
But now that he has gotten older he can’t pull it any more. At school the narrator’s class was studying the human body. They had to make a human skeleton out of Popsicle sticks. “Hey” said Gordan “my Uncle Ivan owns a butcher shop if we can get some animal bones our sculpture will be a lot more realistic”. “Lets go there after school to get some” said the narrator.
So after school Gordan and the narrator went down to Gordan’s uncles butcher shop. They climbed into the dumpster out back and found some animal bones in the it . They put them in a shopping bag and started to walk to school.
They stopped at the candy store. They entered the store and put down the bag to get the candy. They paid for the candy and went to school. But Gordan had to go back to the candy store to get the bones because he forgot them at the candy store.
After 30 minutes the principle went down to the candy store to see what Gordan was doing. Once he got there, he saw a bunch of police cars and in the back of one was Gordan! The principle was about to ask him what he had done when a police officer asked him if he new Gordan and then he said “I teach him almost every thing he knows” and he immediately was thrown into the back of the police car with Gordan. Then he told the police chief that they had a new suspect. The police chief told the officer that it was the school principle and to let him go.
Then Mr. Evans asked Gordan why he was in the police car. And then it Happened. Gordan yelled out “it was all Mrs. Hoagsbrith’s fault! She told me to come and get the bones”! So all the police officers went down to the school to arrest Mrs. Hoagsbrith!
My Opinion:
I thought this book was good because it was understandable and it was funny when Gordan yelled out “It was all Mrs. Hoagsbrith fault she told me to come down here and get the bones”! I really enjoyed this chapter of “And Then It Happened”.

At about the beginning of summer my calico cat had 4 kittens. 2 are black, 1 is white and black and the last one is a calico just like the mom. When they could fit on the palm of your hand they were so small. They didn’t open their eyes for a couple weeks. We went down island for a week and when we came back we were surprised to see 4 open eyed kittens running around the big cardboard box they were in.
About a month later they started eating hard food and drinking water. But now the are very active and run around an entire room! They climb the blankets on beds, jump on to you and try to escape the room when you open the door. We have found homes for 3 of them, the calico, the black and white one, and one of the black ones.
I hope we are able to find a home for the last black one if not, it might go to the pound.

Did you know that I am in Scouts? Well I am. I’m going to because it’s very fun and we get to go on field trips, do knot tying, setting up tents, and a lot of other fun stuff. Most of all, the rewards that come from selling popcorn and we have to sell popcorn to do all that fun stuff to but it’s totally worth it.
My sister and I are teaming up to raise $600. We are selling a lot of different flavours like chocolate, chocolate and vanilla, cheese, regular, and much more! The reason why is if we do we get a disk launcher, $100 worth in Walmart gift cards, and a chance to win a Nintendo 3DS and a laptop! But that’s not the only reason we’re trying to raise $600. We are also trying to raise more than my brother, Josh but I don’t think that will be hard. My sister and I have already raised $458 in one night!
Last year, I raised over $2000 just in Port McNeil! I also raised the most money on Vancouver Island and I got a crossbow that shoots marsh mellows, and 400 dollars in Walmart gift cards! So I think I am going to raise a lot this year.
Leave a commentOn the weekend my grandparents came to my house for 2 days. Most of the time we were making then canning apple pie filling. But on Sunday my sister and her friend had to go up the road to feed some horses so I went with them. We road our bikes up the road and we parked the in the driveway. We had to get a bail of hay from the barn to feed the horses. When we were in the barn we saw a kitten that the horses owner just got. We tried to catch it but it ran and hid behind all the bales of hay. So we just got the hay and started to go towards the stalls where the horses were.
Then we had to get past the horses owners dog who is very big and jumps on you and and tries to bite you. If the chain was 10 cm longer the dog would have got us. We were right beside the bushes when we were walking past it. Once we fed the horses I had to go to the bathroom. The only problem was that the dog was right in front of the door so my older sister held the dog down wile I ran into the house. I made sure that I took of my shoes before I went inside. once I was done I was walking out when I ran into my sister on the way. they were coming in the house to feed the horses owners other dogs which are very small and were chihuahuas. Once they fed the dogs it was time to leave. I went to get my shoes on when I noticed that one was missing. So I went over to were the dog was an I was sad to see the dog chewing on it!
