On January fifth, the children leave their shoes on the doorstep. Then in the secret of the night, three wise men pass leaving gifts. On January sixth, Epiphany is heralded with paraders in various cities where candy and cakes are distributed to the children along the parade route.


Fun Facts:

Christmas dinner is eaten till after midnight.

After dinner they sing carols & hymns around the tree.

An old Spanish verse says “Esto noche es Noche-buena Y no es noche de dormir. Which means “This is a good night therefore it is not meant for sleep.”
