Did you know on December 5th the children of Holland leave their clogs and shoes out to be filled with presents from Sinterklass. Santa Clause comes from the name Sinterklass. They also believe  if they leave carrots and hay in their shoes for Sinterklass’s white horse,  they will receive  some sweets. They also believe if the children are bad,  they would be chased around by a stick. The country is not that far away but it has very different traditions. Have a Very Merry Christmas.
