Christmas in Sweden Starts on Dec. 13, which is on St. Lucias day. Lucia was a young girl who brought food to Christians who were being persecuted. Every town picks thier own Lucia.  She dresses in a white dress with a red sash.Then they have a Julbord (feast) and finish off with glogg (sweet mulled wine). Christmas trees are decorated with straw to resemble Jesus’ Birth, Straw goats are put by the Christmas tree to protect it.      God Jul      (Merry Christmas).
