Mr. N's Class

Summary: As the game began Big Tree threw the ball in the game and it started. Ohkwa’ri was always watching the ball. The ball came toward him and the sticks were flying. He was hit but he lifted his leg and tripped him. he was running to find the ball. Ohkwa’ri was doing as his uncle instructed.  He stayed back and didn’t rush to try to get the ball. When he saw his sister wave he raised his stick. He cried Hiy, which means he saw an opening. His teamate did not go through the oening but he did dodge most of the defenders. Then he was stuck he held the ball and as a surprise to everyone he threw it and it was to Ohkwa’ri. 

He caught it. He was in open feild he could see the goalpost.  He threw it and scored. They were heading to the ravine where Ohkwa’ri and Grabber met. Ohkwa’ri hit him in the leg he heard a crack and Grabber went down. He got up and poped it back into place. They ended up wining. 

Summary: After the win the old men’s team danced around the fire. There was a great celebration for them. Even though the young men’s team scored one less goal than the old men’s team they weren’t very okay. they acted liked they got whooped in a 29 to 2 game. All the people around Okwa’ri were laughing. Then suddenly when he walks away a large figure moves passed him from behind. It was Eats Like aBear. Greasy Hair and Falls a Lot came out of the bushes. They ask how hurt is Grabber. He’s fine says Okwa’ri. He’s just sick. Falls a Lot says you deserve to win. Then Greasy Hair says Henh! Which means yes. Victory belongs to me.  

After the game, there was a celebration. Ohkwa’ri was still worried about Grabber even though many people came to congratulate him. Grabber’s friend spoke with Ohkwa’ri. They asked about the injury and told him he played a good game. They looked embarrassed about their actions. This did not make Ohkwa’ri feel any better. Otsi:stia could tell something bothered Ohkwa’ri. She went to check on Grabber. She learned that Grabber will be OK.   She ran back to the celebration to tell Ohkwa’ri. Ohkwa’ri felt better.

In this chapter Ohkwa’ri, played in a game of  tekwaarathon. The young men trying to hurt him, but Ohkwa’ri still decided to save the life of Grabber. The game started when Big Tree threw the ball high in the air. One of Grabber’s friend swung the stick at Ohkwa’ri’s head . Otsi:stia was waving signals that said the pictures on there head were working. His stick had its own mind. Wide Awake threw Ohkwa’ri a pass and everybody playing didn’t know who had the ball but the fans knew who had the ball. Ohkwa’ri was in the woods and could see the open field and a defender behind a tree. This defender was going to try to hurt Ohkwa’ri, but Quick Eyes blocked him. Ohkwa’ri scored the first goal. Grabber scored the second goal. Toward the end of the game, Grabber attacked Ohkwa’ri. During the attack, Grabber fell over a small cliff and hurt his leg. Ohkwa’ri climbed down the cliff and stopped the bleeding which saved Grabber.

Summary: Ohkwa’ri woke up early in the morning. He was nervous. His Grandma came in and painted his face and his sister’s face. A bunch of people came to the game from a lot of different nations. Wide Awake was the team captain. He told Ohkwa’ri that he was a wolf. He was suppose to get the ball first and lead the team down the field. The other people would stand by close to the goal to protect it. The game is about to begin.
