Chapter 5- Today there is only 4 months until pony penning day! The boy and his sister are working furiously to get every thing ready for the phantom. Maureen asked her brother how many ponies do you thing grandpa will sell. Paul said maybe all of them except the suckling. Paul and Maureen worked with their grandpas horses. The trained them to do things. When ever a buyer would come the horses would run wildly. Now Paul got them and walked them over to the buyers and they would pet them. Paul and Maureen had improved a lot to. When ever the buyers came to buy a horse Maureen would run up to her room and put her face in her pillow. Paul would take a horse and galloped down the hard point to keep him from crying. Now they walked the colts to the buyers to show them how gentle they were and they even loaded them up in the horse trailer. They kept thinking soon they would have a pony of their own. They would not have to sell it, it would be theirs till the end.

The ponies were free at last they were running  in a HUGE field with fresh grass and it was green as the leafs on the trees. It was a good neighbor hood for the ponies to be in.They loved being there in the field the owners never took care of them back at home so they are use to this because this behavior never changed.

They had nothing to do but roll around in the field, eat ,explore the field and see what they could find ,and give each other company. Most people would take care of there ponies if they didnt they would take them away.

Chapter 2- So the horses were exhausted. Now the are free! They were hungry but did not eat right then and there. The stallian gathered up his mares and lead them into the forest. the mares stopped to eat but he put them back into a line and lead them again. Finally they smelled the fresh salty grass and started to eat like it was not going to last. When they could not eat anymore they made holes with their hooves in the ground and drank some water. They were so happy that they rolled in the grass and neighed. There was not a human in sight. Finally they went to sleep. When summer came they ran into the sea so deep that it came up to their necks just to cool off. When winter came there was a slate of ice but they never went hungry. They broke through the ice with the hooves. Sometimes they went into the woods and ate myrtle leave because they were green all winter long.
