Mr. N's Class

The Hunter and John Longridge decided to go back to a lake house. To get away from the the calls of people. Peter his grandson was turning twelve. They went up a trail and Elizabeth heard a sound. Then Tao, her cat came running up the trail to meet her. Then Luath came up the trail. They rejoiced. Then they forgot about Peter and how Bodger was his dog. He said he was okay and went to look at whisky jackets. John went with him. While they were talking they heard a sound and Bodger came running up to meet his old friend.

Longbridge came home and found that the trio had been missing. The old dog, Bodger, the young dog Luath and the cat Tao. Had gone missing. The man got a terrible thought that they had left with Luath to go to their owners. They belonged to His granddaughter. They went to go see her. Him and Mrs.Oakes thought they haddn’t survived the journey. He called around the town to see if anyone had seen the trio. A little while later a lady called and said that she had a little girl rescue a cat from drowning. She told him that he could meet the girl if he wanted to. He was really worried about them.

The young dog still had porcupine quills on his lip and it was starting to get infected. They traveled and passed little houses and did not go in any of them. Then the old dog got real hungry. He disobeyed the young dog and went over to the house. He pawed at the door and it opened. A man let him in and his wife gave him some stuff to eat. The man went hunting and shot a deer and the young dog popped out of the water and brought it to to the man. The man saw that the dog had quills on him and took him home with the other dog. He got the quills out and then gave him some food to eat. They stayed and ate while the cat was outside. After a couple of days the cat came to the place the dogs were sleeping. They knew they had to leave the nice family. In the mourning they set off on their journey.

Today I read chapter one of   ” The Incredible Journey”  its a really good book so far. Anyway this story takes place in Canada. The animals live with there loving owners the Longridge family. They are the most loving family in the world. Anyway one day the family decided to go to New Englend and left the family pets with a clouse relative.

The cat on his way left the little girl’s house. He soon picked up the dogs scent and followed it. On his way he did not leave any trace of his passing. One time he ran into some hunters with a dog a got passed easily. He entered a place that seemed very gloomy. He thought some one was stalking him and kept looking back. One time he got in a tree and looked for him and saw nothing. Then he heard a noise. He ran up a tree and then he saw a lynx. It tried to get him but the cat jumped down. Then a boy came and he was silent. He was looking for deer but then he saw he lynx. The looked at the boy with pure hatred and pounced. The boy shot and the lynx fell and did not move again. The cat followed the scent and then finally caught up to them. They happily rejoiced.
