On May 4, 2011 students at Echo Loder and Agnes Risley Elementary Schools in Nevada will launch a weather balloon into the stratosphere. The balloon will carry with it cameras, GPS equipment, scientific instruments, and student designed experiments. It will also carry our, “high hopes,” for the our school, community, and world.
We would love to include your, “high hopes,” too!
Just before we launch the balloon we will print out all the, “high hopes,” we can collect on special biodegradable paper that has been cut into fortune cookie size strips. These strips will be packaged inside the weather balloon and when the balloon bursts in the atmosphere the, “high hopes,” of everyone who participates will be released to be shared with the world.

That. Kids do better in reading. Kids don’t get in trouble so much. Kids learn more and they do not goof of in class. The school gets more pencils,paper, and computers. My High Hope for my community is That people stop using there cars that much so there will not be allot of bad air, People stop littering and start recycling, Kids well no longer have to be in a gang, That people tack more responsibility, No more people we sell illegal drugs. My High Hope for the World is. That more and more people help Japan, People help give food water and money to poor countries, That we figure out ways to make the world greener, Help the people from Haiti recover from the earthquake, Helping people around the world learner how to grow more food, Save trees from getting cut down and burned.

So that way the community can look nicer. Participate in more activities and get along better. Things can be more affordable then people having to struggle to have money to feed there kids.My High Hope for the world is that we make the world greener and replace oil with energy sources so we do not run out of it. Save trees from getting cut and burned down. Then giving money to the people who suffered in big earthquakes and tsunamis.

We have been on mid-semester break here in W.A. so I hope our high hope is not too late.
…well I have a couple of high hopes. One of them is to stop bullying in the world. Let’s all find peace and the world would be soooooooo much better. Bullying is something I think has no reason. Bulling is so bad and hurts others, so why would you want to do that? Jesus and God taught us to love others and not to hate. My other high hope is to end world hunger. If we all work together, we can make a big difference and change the world! My last high hope that is accualy a dream is to be an actress and to work with my favorite director, Tim Burton, my favorite actor, Johnny Depp, and my favorite actress, Helena Bonham Carter. Thanks!
