In the book Strider I made a  text to self, one day I was riding my bike around the block. I saw a little bulldog walking around on its own with out a caller, when I passted  the little bulldog  it started to follow me. When I got home the bulldog tried to go in the house with me, but I  would not let him. 20 minuets later whenI went back outside he was still siting there. I wanted to keep but his owner started look for him. Thats my text to self.

In this book it talked about the Hurdmans being mean and tuff, so I thought they would be taller,and older. But in the movie they looked a lot younger. There was also a part that happend in the book but did not happen in the movie, when one of the Hurdmans took there mean cat school for show and tell it went crazy, and ate the gold fish. But in the movie that did not happen at all.

In the book Strider there is a boy named Leigh Bots he has a dog named Strider who runs away, but comes back. I had a text to self connection about my dog last year. One day when I came home from school my dog Bowser was gone I asked my mom where he was, she said he got out. We tried going around the block but we could not find him. Later that night Bowser was scratching on the door on the front porch. That is my text to self.

When I was reading rules I found the adjectives,

In the book rules I found the nouns water, bathing suit, gum, Kristi, David, Ryan, Catherin, and stomach.
