We have so much for which to be thankful. We start with Jesus leaving all his power and glory to come to earth as a helpless baby. He lived the life we were not able to. He suffered and died for our sins. He rose and returned to Heaven to prepare a place for us. Nothing we can do would have been enough. Thank God he did it all for us. That is just a small start for which we can be thankful.

We have purchased the Barton Reading and Spelling System. I have used this system with one student and have started it with several others. Our one student has benefited from this system greatly. He has really blossomed. If anyone is interested in seeing this system or would like to review their reading skills, I am willing to help anyone in our area. Please contact me at 920 982-5444. I want to thank all the parents for coming again for the IHP Conferences. If you can give me a better way to get information about times for the meetings back and forth, please let me know.

Teachers’ conference was very informative to me. I learned many things and am anxious to try many of the those things.

Always remember to be thankful for what God has given us. We are not all gifted the same by God. That is a great thing. If we all had the same gifts, there would be no one to do the other jobs. Use what God has given you to the best of your abilities. Continue to encourage others to use what God has given them also. When you are feeling useless or down, remember to count what God has done for you and what he has given you.

With thanksgiving coming, we have to remember how much God has done for us. We have been truly blessed whether we have little or much. Jesus came down from Heaven. He left His power and glory behind and came down to Earth as a poor helpless infant. He lived the life we couldn’t. He suffered and died for us. It would have done no good for us to do it because we were not perfect. He went to hell to show the devil His victory. He then went to Heaven to prepare a place for us. What more can you ask for?
