I encourage you to take a look at the students’ leprechaun traps on their individual blog pages. The students created their own traps and shared how they worked with the other students in the classroom. After that, they set their traps to try to catch a clever leprechaun. When the students came in to school on Friday, they found their traps tripped by some leprechauns. Not only that, but the clever fellows left green footprints all over our classroom and a lot of chocolate, gold coins! However, not one leprechaun was to be found. We feel lucky that the leprechauns were in a generous mood though. We know they weren’t very generous the day before. They made a mess of some classrooms. Some desks were even turned upside down. I guess leprechauns really ARE clever.
