Dear New Teacher,

Hi, I’m Sammi and I am so exited to meet you. I am 9 and I love to  swim, do art, play drums, bike, and learn math in school.(Math is my favorite subject in school.) I hope I learn a lot from you. From my teachers description you seem very nice. I hope you have a nice time in my class and I wish you a happy new year

I had the best time at North Carolina with my family friends so I decided to share it with you.

It all started last year. Me and my 2 friends all piled into a car to go to North Carolina. I need to tell you, it was defiantly worth the 12 hour ride. After 6 hours we surprisingly stopped at a hotel. It was a nice hotel with an outdoor pool and a good cafe. We stayed their for 1 day then went back on the road.Then it took us another 6 hours to actually get to North Carolina.We rented a log cabin with a hot tub only for grown ups but I went in any way! The log cabin had 2 stories. It was awesome. Oh, and we went shopping before we went to the cabin. So we have food to last the two weeks we are going to be their. Now lets get to the point.

The first thing I did was go in the creek. Have you ever heard of a creek? If you did not, it is a stream with rocks you jump on. But try your best not to fall on a rock if you go in a creek! I am saying this from experience!I had a great time hiking also. I hiked up half of a big mountain then got tired so I went back to the lovely cabin. Some people stayed. After the hike I went back to the creek. When the other people came back, we went around a mountain to roast some marsh mellows. Their was also a little stage and we sang. We also went to the top of the mountain. My brother drop a worm of the mountain. (Poor worm:(.) After that we caught lady bugs and firefly fireflies. That was the end of the first day. Now lets talk about the 2nd day. I went on a raft. It was so amazing and exiting. I had a blast! When we went the it felt like the water had really big speed bumps! We went up and down and up and down! We stopped at a tall rock. I jumped off it. The water was as cold as Antarctica! (By the way, I was in my close. ) Sadly we did not see any fish but I still had the best time of my life. Now time to move to the 3rd and 4th day.

I call the 3rd and 4th days “the lazy days”. The reason why I called them that is because we stayed in the cabin for those days. But we did go outside at the end of the day because we went to the marsh mellow place. During the day we played board games and watched tv. In the night we slept. Just slept. So that was the 3rd and 4th days.

On the 5th and 6th days is all outside days. Lets just say that these days were opposite from the 3rd and 4th days. We went hiking, played in creeks, rafting, and we also went horse back riding. Now let me tell you about the horse back riding. I rode a brown horse named “Jamer”. She was sweet. When she sees a puddle she sits down so you can get off, then she rolls in the puddle, the sits back down so you can get back on. It was funny! now let me talk about the last days.

So the last days were kind of in the middle. their was relaxing and getting active.

So if you want a good place for a vacation, go to North Carolina.

All sports are fun but the best is swimming. That is just my opinion. When I grow up, I want to be a/an Olympic swimmer. People say I am a really good diver. Some day, I want to swim in a Olympic swimming pool. I herd they are really big!! I swam in a pool half the size of it and it was pretty long! I was really tired so I don’t think I will make it through the Olympics! But you can always try! I would have a blast in the Olympics! I also used to play tennis. I still go to tennis courts and play. I have a great time playing both sports. They are very fun to me. I cannot decide which is my favorite becuase they are both fun. I need help choosing to. I used to play tennis with my friend. I will admite tennis is fraustrating and a little hard. But I still have a blast playing. What is your favorite sport? Please leave a comment! :)

(If you spell Hanukkah with 8 letters it would be spelled right.) Anyway, Hanukkah is super fun and has lots of gifts. Yesterday I got a really cute outfit. It was really pretty. I love Hanukkah! This has taken me 2 days so I got 1 more gift. It was a doll. It was a cute doll to. I love this time of year. It is my favorite. I also love gelt. It is delicious!! I also love the game dreidel. Nun is for none, Shin is put 1 in, Gimle is get all, and Hay is get half. These are all the reasons why I love Hanukkah! Do you celebrate Hanukkah? If so, please leave a comment.:)

Thanksgiving is so fun it is one of my favorite holidays. You can eat turkey with your family and play a lot of games. I love spending time with my family. I can’t wipe a smile off my face I’m so happy! Do you like Thanksgiving????
