I have updated the blog today.  If your post isn’t showing, it’s because you need to edit before it gets approved.  Check for punctuation, capitalization at the beginning of the sentences and run the spell check.  It’s the button that says ABC checkmark.

It seems that my students are finally getting the hang of blogging!  Thanks to all those QuadBlogging partners (especially our new friends from Iowa & New Hampshire) who have done such a great job of commenting on our posts!  You’ve really inspired us to keep blogging.   As the BFG would say, “How wondercrump! How whoopsey-splunkers!  How absolutely squiffling!”  :)

Today is a family day around the Kraeger house.  We’ll have lunch together later.  Maybe since the weather is so nice, tonight we’ll have a fire out in the firepit on the patio.  Until then, I’ll be busy working on a literature review for one of my college classes.  To do this, I read a lot of articles about a certain topic and then write a paper reviewing each article and describing how they all fit together on the same topic.  It’s a little bit like when you write a book review, except I have to give reasons for my opinions.  I can’t just say it was the best article I ever read!

In between, I’ll take my dog Nikki for a walk.  She likes to walk every day,especially when there are bunnies or squirrels around.  We don’t let her chase them because she’d probably catch them!  So, she stays on a leash for the safety of rabbits and squirrels everywhere.

It’s 9pm on Monday night.  My kids Josh and Monica are studying french together.  Josh is taking french in college and Monica is taking french as a senior in high school.  I’m reading blog posts and laughing about the funny and interesting things my students have to say about me, school, and the world.  Josh is teasing me about being a “geek” because I like reading so much.  I think it’s funny that he says that because he’s the one that usually can’t put a book down! :)
