Last week we did a Simulation. I was Dr.Snicket. I was the ships surgeon. I sailed on the S.S Bloom. The S.S Bloom sailed for The Royal Charter of Portugal. I thought the simulation was a great thing because it taught us a lot about history. Plus it was fun to listen to what happened to other peoples ships. A simulation is where you have a group, in this case we had ships and we all got jobs that they would have on ships. This simulation was about Christopher Columbus. It was also fun because it was great to do it so it is a hands on thing not just “listen to the teacher”. You get to do it and feel what it is like.
I died from a common thing called scurvy

I like the name Dr. Snicket for a surgeon. It was sad the surgeon died of scurvy. These days we know vitamin C prevents scurvy.
I like your point the simulation gave you hands-on experience and wasn’t just listen to the teacher. When you feel involved in a lesson, you learn so much more.
