Well, the school’s wonderful principal Mr. Rykal is retiring…So in honor, Mrs. Ripp is doing a blog post for us to do about it and it is ‘What do principals really do?’

   Well that’s pretty easy, they run the school, WWWWWRRRRROOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!! They do much more than that! Like when some kid gets sent to their office they have to not give all of the pressure on the kid, well they do but not all of it. Also they have to not be so mean on the kid, because they have to find out why they are here. Well thats what I think is the main one, but these are the other ones that matter.

• They plan the scheduale for the teachers (specials, math, social studies, esc.)
• They run the school
• they make sure the teachers are on task
• Make all of the rules in the school (some of them)
• Give new kids families tours arond the school
• Stops bullies in the school
• Decides what new teachers come to this school 

                                Thats all I could think of but there is much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This weeks blogging challenge is about how many things you can make with a paperclip

1. clip paper
2. use for project
3. pick lead out of a sharpener
4. paint your nails (scary but true)

7. scratch stuff (for example: lottery ticket, esc.)     (I can’t think of anything else)
8. soften cat or dog fur. (true)
9. dig out dirt or sand (wet sand)
10. stir water (and other items)
11. sew (for a very short time though)
12. make into jewelry (earings, bracelets, necklace)

14. scratch your back (not very far though)
15. detail clay (or other prouducts)
16. pick dirt out of your nails (or toenails)

19. make a collection of paperclips (odd)
20. antennas
21. make into a ball
22. use as a ball

24. shoe lace (very hard to tie though)
25. clockhand (if you can get the right time for it)

29. make a stick person     (wierd)

THAT’S ALL I COULD THINK OF BUT I BET THERE IS A LOT MORE RANDOM ONES FROM MY CLASSMATES!!!!!!

I think that we should still blog because of all the fun stuff we do with blogging. Also that usual schools don’t get to do blogging, and that we are the only really ones who do it. Some people think it’s boring, but I’ve been doing it for 2 years and it’s really fun to do. I think we should still do it because of the blogging challenges. I think that the blogging challenges well, challenge your brain to do a blog that you wouldn’t expect to do. My favorite thing about blogging is that the whole class gets to do it and that I  get to see them and get ideas but don’t copy them.

This week is about changing school rules. The rule I would change is that we would be able to watch PG rated movies instead of just G rated movies. Because of all the time there is mostly just educated, I mean we should still have education movies just PG rated ones. Also Only the fourth and fifth graders should because of that third  grade and under is a bit too young for that. There should be like a little shelf for all of the PG rated movies. I mean we shouldn’t have a huge shelf but just a little shelf so the third and under graders won’t see it. If some second grader tries to take one Pg movie there will be a sticker that says PG on it. That’s the rule I would change. :)

                This weeks blogging challenge is about why do we go to school and why do we need education.      I always think about why I need education??? Sometimes I think long and hard about this, but eventually I always get the same answer. The reason why I and everyone needs education because with out education everyone would know nothing and no one could get a job. All you could do is walk around talking gibberish and everyone would die because no one thought of making companies or resaurants or any other recorces.

              I also think about why I go to school??? Well thats easy to answer, You learn and get education from school, also you get to meet new friends at school, like I got most of my friends at school. It helps you get hands on stuff too, like science.  Also you learn about history and math and other awesome stuff. You can also get the best teachers!!!!!!!!
