Hi everybody, I am going to tell you about the Global Read Aloud Predictions and what happened in the book so far. But first if you don’t know what it is I should tell you. First in the Global Read Aloud you make predictions looking at the cover of the book. Next you read a few chapters then you skype kids and teachers around THE WORLD about what happened and predictions for the next chapters. Then you do it again and again and again until you finish the book. So hears what has been happening in the book. Once there was a girl named Winne who was ten and lived near a forest. Every day she gets bossed around by her grandmother and doesn’t like it, so one day she talks to the toad who lives in the lake near their house. She talks about how she doesn’t like it. Later on she meets a suspicious guy in the yellow suit. One day she went into the forest and saw a little boy drinking out of a spring. She doesn’t know what it does. She finds the boy’s mom and they kidnapped her…. only for her not to be close to the spring. Why is the spring dangerous?!? WHY?

Who is the man with the yellow suit?
Is Winne going to tell her parents about the spring?
Winne is going to be found by her parents and grandma.
Why does the toad keep popping up?
