Forever A Great Meal

Aahhh, food, wonderful isn’t it?

I’m gonna tell and describe my favorite meal.  My #1 meal that I would have all the time is (drum roll) sushi (specifically california roll), miso soup, sweet potato tempura, yakitori (chicken on a stick), edamame, gyoza (fried dumplings), and the rice from under the fish and shrimp.  California Roll 1. Tastes chewy with a slight tang to it.  2.  Smells like rice (sorry if that doesn’t help).  3.  It has a ring of rice, then of seaweed, then in the center, rice, crab, and avocado.  4.  I would share sushi with people who ask nicely for it when I’m done, and if I have leftovers from what I ate.  Miso Soup 1.  The tofu tastes soft and almost flavorless, the seaweed salty and chewy, and the broth almost doesn’t taste like anything.  2.  Miso soup smells very salty.  3.  The top looks slightly brown with seaweed and tofu chunks floating in it.  4.  I might not share it with people because I like it a lot.  Sweet Potato Tempura  1.  It tastes like less salty french fries.  2.  Smells like hot potatoes.  3.  Looks like a 3/4 cm. thick potato that was fried.  4.  I would share it with people because if they like thick french fries, they’ll like tempura.  Yakitori  1.  The chicken is very juicy and tasty, but my favorite part is the sauce.  It’s sweet, thick, and very flavorful.  2.  The chicken smells very, er, chickeny.  The sauce smells sweet and salty.  3.  It looks like beige chicken, slightly browned on the top, with light brown sauce drizzled over the top.  4.  I would share the chicken with people, it might make them happy.  Edamame  1.  It’s soy beans, but sprinkled with salt.  2.  It smells like salt.  3.  They’re soy beans, already unpealed.  4.  I’d love to share edamame with everyone, it’s amazing.  Gyoza  1.  They are very satisfying dumpling.  Some parts on the outside have a nice flavorful crunch.  2.  It smells like fried vegetables mixed with a cooked doughy outside.  3.  It looks like round white pot stickers, that have some brown edges.  4.  I’d share yakitori with everyone in the world who likes it.  Rice from under the shrimp  1.  Tastes tangy and yummy.  2.  Smells almost spicy.  3.  It looks like regular rice, but its actually better.  4.  I wouldn’t like to share it with people because I don’t usually get and when I do I don’t every get enough.

I like all of this food because it is all Japanese.  I always order the same thing from Takara.  Tell me if you think any font color is hard to read.

TTFN (ta ta for now)

I’m 1/2 Fillipino and yet I’ve never tried singasong! What does it taste like? Why do you like it? What does is look like? Do you thinks it would be hard to make? Is it doughy?
