I got my new glasses Monday!!! I have been waiting for them for about 2 weeks now! At first, when I was looking, I couldn’t decide between purple glasses and these. I’m glad I got these glasses because the other ones had this triangle bumps on the side that I really didn’t like. I’m also glad I didn’t get the other ones because I’ve had purple glasses since 1st grade and I wanted to mix it up. I’m really happy with my glasses!
Last Saturday, I had a sleepover with my friend Emily. She only got to spend the night because, we biked by her house after we went to Casey’s to air up our bike tires. She biked back to our house. When we got back to my house, we went to play with some girls from down the street, Darynn, Kaylee, and Kelsey. We went to our club for a little while and then played at their house. But then, my mom and dad came to get us to go to Mattoon to go to Walmart and then got Jimmy John’s. After we got home, we got into our PJ’s. We played on iPads and then went to bed. Buddy got to sleep with us too! The next morning, we played on the iPads and then Emily had to go home because her Grandparents were coming. We had tons of fun and can’t wait for next time!
I have an eye doctor appointment tomorrow. I have one because both of my glasses’ sides got broke. Here’s how it happened: I got out of the shower and grabbed my glasses. I flipped up one side and it just fell off. then I tryed to see if I could super glue it. Well, I bent my other side off and now both of the sides are super glued. I can’t wait to get new glasses! I want to get black and blue ones instead of purple. I also want plastic sides so they don’t break so easily. (Kind of like this.)
Sunday, I went to my Grandma’s house to have Easter lunch. I was SO excited when we got in the car. Even Buddy got to go. On the way there, I started to make a bracelet with a Friendship Bracelet Maker that I got from the Easter Bunny. Buddy slept the whole way there. He’s never very ambitious when he rides in the car. Anyway, when we got there, I talked with my Uncle Mark, Uncle Kurt, and Grandpa. Then we went to go eat. Even Buddy got to eat about 12 baby carrots. Then most of us went into the living room to talk. My cousin Cassidy and I made bracelets and talked. I had a great time and was bummed when we had to go. I can’t wait until next year!
How to Steal a Dog is an awesome book! It’s about a girl named Georgina. She got kicked out of her apartment and now lives in a car. She wants to live in a house like a normal person really bad. She decides to steal a dog when she sees a reward sign for a dog. She steals a dog named Willy with the help of her younger brother, Toby. She goes to a lot of trouble to steal Willy. In the end, she decided not to take the reward and her mom ends up saving up enough money and they live in a house.
