In East Prairie, you’ll never know what to expect. When you’re in 5th grade, there’s something called, “Freedom Friday.” In Freedom Friday, you have to have no write ups the entire week. What you can do in freedom Friday is enter silent ball or a talent show. You can do both. What else is there in East Prairie is you get to play an instrument in “Band.” You can play saxophone, (that’s what I want to play) clarinet, percussion, (percussion includes bells, snare, bass, and if your good enough, a complete drum set just to name a few.) flute, tuba, etc. You also start to have detention too! To get a detention, you do something bad and get a write up. If you get three write ups, you have to serve detention! It’s very bad!!! You also have to take the heat! It’s very hot in East Prairie because the air conditioning never gets fixed! Luckily, fans go throughout the entire school just like air conditioning is flowing. There is also no A.R.! Once you get a book done, you do a book report that goes for your reading grade for the quarter. Those are some things to be aware of.
Joe Perry plays guitar, drums and keyboard. He is in the band, “Aerosmith.” He’s very talented. Some of his guitars
are scanned into the video game, Guitar Hero Aerosmith.” Joe perry is as well scanned into the video game. On the Wii version he barely opens his mouth. On the Xbox, he opens his mouth, BIG TIME! Anyway, on one of my blogs, “Aerosmith,” I talked about how Joe moved out of Aerosmith for five years. I’m about to talk about one of his songs. It’s, “Shakin’ My Cage.” Joe played this song every so often so often. He made this blues rock song during, “The Joe Perry Project.” It wasn’t his best song but pretty good. This song is about a girl a guy likes shakin’ his cage. Well that’s really it.
Rage Against The Machines is a rock band of 4 men. They made hits (songs) such as, Bulls On Parade, Testify, Born As Ghosts, Killing In The Name, Bombtrack, Born A Broken Man and so on. They made albums such as, Battle Of The Los Angeles, Evil Empire, Rage Against The Machines, Live At Olympic Auditorium, Battle Of New Mexico and so on. Many bands faced their band’s lead guitarist facing them making a solo gig. (If you read my blog “Aerosmith”, you know what I mean.) Tom Morello did the same thing in “Tom Morello the Nightwatchman”. That’s weird I know.
Jumbo pencil and Birdie pen were my favorite writing utensils I ever had! And you too can relive what we did together! They’re both on sale. Birdie pen is only, $500.00. Jumbo pencil is $1000.00 now. Once I find the pencil sharpener, it’ll be $1050.00. I’m not selling them because I hate them, I don’t hate them, I need $ for banking or else I’ll have to stop it!
