The Cardinals beat the Rangers 9-3 on Monday.  I was o for 3 that night with a strike out, ground out for an rbi and  a pop out to third.  We still pulled it off but we play them again tonight and I will tell you what happens next Wednesday.

So I  had MSU winning it all and it ended up being the Kentucky Wildcats.  The Wildcats beat my favorite team, Indiana Hoosiers, in the sweet 16.  Then they went on to the championship against Kansas who had a shocker to the world beating Ohio State Buckeyes.  Anyway Kentucky beat Kansas 67 to 59.  There was a bunch of other disappointments in the tournament but it was still intense.

For spring break, I will be traveling to Orlando, Florida. We will leave early Saturday morning and plan on getting there around sunset.  The next day we will go to the beach for a couple of hours and  then go to my aunt and  uncle’s house again to hang out for the rest of the day.  The next day we plan on going to Universal Studios.  My dad and I are going to ride the Hulk, Space Mountain, and a lot more awesome rollercoasters.  The next day,Tuesday, we will go to Sea World. I have no idea what we are going to do there except look at a bunch of water animals.  Wednesday we are going to Disney to obviously see Mickey Mouse because he is awesome!  We will also see a bunch of other cartoon characters.  Thursday we will sit around and talk to my aunt and uncle because they don’t get that many visitors.  Then after we talk for a while we will pack up and hit the road.  On our way back home we  are going to stop at a hotel for the night.  Then we will leave the hotel and head for a place that has the tallest underground waterfall.  Don’t ask me what it is called because I forgot.  Then we will hit the road….again. We plan on getting home Friday night.  Then we will probably have Saturday to sit around.  Sunday we will go to church and sit around after that too.

Lent is a time of the year that you give something up or you want to do something more if it is a good thing. You can’t eat meat on Fridays if you’re Catholic, and you have to try your hardest to not have whatever you gave up. Anyway, I gave up soda for Lent and it is hard because I have at least a little glass every day. If you accidently have something you gave up, the best thing you can do is pray and ask God to forgive you. Lent’s season has simple rules but they can be hard to follow.

We were on the teeter totter at recess and I flew forward and hit my head on a metal bar that connects to the seats. When I hit it, I jumped up right away and ran to the teacher so I could get to the nurse faster.  When all my friends saw my head they all moaned and groaned because it was so nasty. As I was walking with the teacher blood was drooping from my head. After it was all cleaned up I went to Urgent Care and had to have x-rays. They were good and then the doctor told me I could participate in all my events. Then we went home and I did my homework like nothing happened so I still know all of the things I learned.
