Also, I’ve added “Kidblog” to my calendar every Thursday so that I can remember to update posts and comments.  If I think about it at other times, I will!  I’ll keep this up for as long as the interest holds up, and create a separate kidblog for next year’s class.

Wow!  What a fabulous school year!  I was pretty lucky to have a great group of kiddos!  I can’t wait to keep tabs on all of you as you go through middle school and high school.  For most of you, I know your parents, so that may or may not be a good thing!  It will be easy for me to follow you guys!  For the rest, hopefully I will see you out at Raider football or basketball games, at the Herbsfest, or even IGA.  Please don’t hesitate to stop me and tell me how you are doing!  I care for all of you and feel touched to have been a small part of your lives!  :D

I sure will miss Sierra!  She is a good example for our school.  Sierra is a kind and polite student.  Good luck at your new school in Terre Haute!

So, I have to get a root canal today after lunch, and I already have a pretty bad headache!  Not the best plans for the afternoon, but it’s something I have to do.

Then Ella and I will head down to Evansville to see Scott’s dad.  He found out before Christmas that he has lung cancer.  Yesterday he had surgery to remove part of his lung.  Doctors are optimistic that this will remove most of the cancer and will follow up with chemo and radiation.  Cancer stinks!
