Hi, I’m Clifford the turkey and I for sure do not want to be eaten. Last year, I was scheduled to be, but luckily there was some turkey fatter than me. I would be happy to start a new tradition about Thanksgiving. I think they should change it to a different animal but for sure not foxes because my best friend is a fox and she would be mad if I did. Well, anyway about Thanksgiving, I think that whoever invented Thanksgiving should not have based it on turkeys. They should have based it on deer! Besides I think thy are very vicious. I have a perfectly good life except onThanksgiving Day and that’s because my turkey friends keep on disappearing. Once on thanksgiving eve my friend took a hike, then the next thing you know he never came back. I mean, like come on! Why do they have to eat us! That’s why I’m doing what I can to keep turkeys safe. I’m also on a diet like everybody else in the village, so next Monday I’m taking a stand.
