Charlotte’s Web By E.B. White

    My opion of this bookis that it is very good book.  It’s very sweet. I would reccomend this book to anyone that loves a heart warming , madder of life and death , and soft book.        

In Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White is about this young pig named Wilbur. I the begging of the book this little girl named Fern notice her dad with an axe heading towards the barn at dawn. when she went in to see what he was doing , she found out that he was going to kill the runt of the new litter of pigs.  She decied that it wasn’t far for the pig, so she decied to take care of him herself. Once he became to big for the house so he went to Fern’s uncle farm. There he had a new friend named Charlotte. Charlotte was a beautiful large gry spider who lives with Wilbur in the barn. In the middle of the book Charlotte makes a BIG deal with Wilbur. Wilbur finds out what barns do with spring pigs. In winter they kill the pigs and eat them for christmas dinner. I know how up setting that is but don’t worry. Charlote’s deal was to
save Wilburs life.

Does she save his life? How would she save his life? If you want to answer these questions then read the book. as I said before it is a very good book.

Mr.Poppers Penguins By:Richard and Florence Atwater

In the novel Mr.Poppers Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater. There is a man named Mr.Popper and he loves to read books about Anarctica.

Mr.popper is a house painter and a wallpaper insaller. He did that job from spring to winter. Always on a certain night Mr.Popper listen to a radio show about the arctic. Then one night the explorer on the show was saying that he had a special surprise for him. It was a penguin!The problem was that he didn’t know how to take care of penguin. But once he figured out how he got five more!But then there was another problem. He couldn’t keep them in his bath tub. He got a little freezer made for them. What is going to happen with the penguins? Read the book to find out.

I really liked the book. I recommend this book to anyone that likes animals and comedies.

Rules by Cynthia Lord

        Ifyou are looking for a book about a girl that wants a normal life but can’t the book Rules  is the one for you.  My opinion was that this book was one of the best books I ever read.

          In this book,  there is a 12 year old girl named Cathrine.  She has a younger brother named David.  David is 8 years old and has autism.  She makes rules for David (he loves rules).  She wishes she could have a normal life.

          Then she met Jason at David’s OT (occupational therepy)  oppintment.  Jason was paralized from his neck down,  so he was in a wheel chair.  Then they became friends.  When tey came home a 12 year old girl named Kristi was moving in next door with her family.  Kristi and Cathrine also became friends.  By then Cathrine does not know what normal is any more.

Does she figure out what normal is?  Does she stop giving David notes?  If you want to know ,you will have to read the book to find out.
