If you love romance novels then this is a great book for you. It all started with Lucinda (Luce for short) and when her friend mysteriously dies from a fire and she is found guilty of murder. So she is transferred to a school called Sword and Cross for the troubled youth, where cameras watch her every move and there is a strict school rule against cell phones so she leaves behind her best friend and can’t contact her. There she meets Arriane, an excitable girl who really likes her. Also, she meets the handsome Cam, and she feels an attraction to the fascinating Daniel. Luce also makes an enemy, a girl named Molly who has multiple facial piercings. She also becomes friends with a girl named Penn, the daughter of the old (dead) caretaker of the school. She starts falls more and more in love with Daniel and he seems to be ignoring her as much as possible. Until he can’t stay away from her anymore. But Daniel has a secret, and whether Luce likes it or not, it could kill her.

I really loved this book. It was a real page turner, it left you wanting to know more. It is very romantic and makes you feel for the characters. But it shows how hard love really is, and even though it seems impossible, they will always find a way to be together. So i guess its like saying there’s always hope no matter what happens. Warning this isn’t for people who don’t like romance, it’s a very lovey-dovey and sweet book. It’s all about how love will always find a way.

It’s a series, the first one is Fallen, the second one is Torment, the third one is Passion, there’s an extra one just for Valentine’s Day called Fallen in Love, and the last one is coming out in June and its called Rapture.  I’m positive if you liked the first book you will loved the others. Enjoy!!!! :) :)

This book is for those girls who love romance and adventure. Cassia lives in the future where everything is decided for you by the society, what to read, what movies you watch, where you will work, who you will marry, and when you will die. Cassia is 17 which means she has a matching banquet to see who she will be matched with (who she will  marry and have kids with). When her best friend Xander’s face pops up on the screen, she thinks that everything would be perfect with him. But then someone else’s face comes up on the screen, she doesn’t know what to believe in anymore. She had always trust the Society, her father was even an Official, but with all the technology in the world this should have never happened. Was it an accident or is someone toying with her emotions?

The person who showed up on the screen was Ky Markham, a boy who is an Aberration (which means he can’t be matched with someone) he became an Aberration when he father broke the law. He’s really quiet and weird, but people don’t know that he has a brilliant mind that can take him far in life but no one will give him a chance. Him and Cassia go hiking together everyday and before Cassia knows it she’s falling in love with Ky. but how can she decide between two people? Her best friend who she still loves? Or forbidden love?

When I was reading this book i thought that it sounded like a prefect life, you get to skip the all the heartbreaks in life and you’re just paired up with life your perfect match, but then i realized that finding the perfect guy is all part of growing up. And you can’t live life without going threw those experiences and learning that there isn’t always love at first sight. But this is a great book filled with romance, drama, and forbidden love (the best kind)

I have decided to add a couple of quotes from the book. Enjoy! :)

“Every minute you spend with someone gives them a part of your life and takes part of theirs.”

“But if you were Matched,” I say softly, “what do you think she’d be life?” “You,” he says, almost before I’ve finished. “You.” We do not kiss. We do nothing bu hold on and breathe, but still I know. I cannot go gently now.”
“They are giving us pieces of a real life instead of the whole thing. They have perfected the art of giving us just enought freedom; just enough that when we are ready to snap, a little bone is offered and we roll over, belly up, comfortable and placated like a dog… – Cassia”

Do you have an addiction for magical creatures, romance, and adventure? Well, Hex Hall is just the book for you!

When   Sophia   Mercier was 12 years old she found out that she was a witch with magical powers beyond her wildest dreams. She was 16 at her school prom she put a love spell on someone that was so strong it nearly killed someone! So, she got sent to a prodigem ( witches, warlocks, shape-shifters,  fairies, and werewolves) School called Hecate Hall ( Hex Hall for short) where  she would learn to control her magic. When she got there, her thought was,” OMG!My life is over!”, but her thoughts changed once she meets the gorgeous Archer Cross ( a warlock with A LOT of experience). Then another surprise, her roommate Jenna is the only vampire student in the whole school.

Then she meets the coven, a group of witches who have the power to knock over the Empire State Building with their pinkies. The coven had a hatred for vampires including Jenna, because the year before the girls found Holly (a girl who had once been in the coven) dead in the girls bathroom with two holes in her neck and there was no blood in her body, so course they blamed Jenna. But when the same thing starts happening to rest of the girls in the coven, relationships are tested, enemies will become friends, friends will become enemies, the innocent will be blamed, secrets will unfold, and Sophia will learn how to kill a demon the hard way, and this all happens while she trying to hide her feelings for Archer.

My personal opinion, is that the author could have explained what Sophia’s reaction was when she found out that she had powers . The story, in my opinion, unfolded really well, and looked like the author took a lot of time and patience writing this book and she made sure that it was the best that she could.

And for any one who reads Hex Hall and loves it, it’s a trilogy, the next two books are Demon Glass and Spell Bound
