The book that i’m doing my book report on is a book called The Eleventh Plague by Jeff Hirsch.  In the book the main characters are a sixteen year old teenager named Stephen and a sixteen year old girl named Jenny.  The setting for most of the book is a rebuilt town where a lot of the survivers from the Calapse are. The Calapse was when the chinese bombed the major cities in the U.S. as a retaliation with a strand of bacteria called p11 which killed almost everyone.  Then they invaded the U.S. to kill the remaining survivers of p11.  In this book you will find a little of everything romance, suspence, action and adventure, too.  At the begining of the book they are burying there dead grammpa.  After they bury him they start on the trail again looking for items that they can salvage from the recked houses and broken down malls.  Stephen and his dad are salvagers which means that they collect and trade items to get food and supplies to survive.  On the trail they find a downed airplane are find a jar of pineapple which is a lujory because they haven’t had pineapple rings since before The Calapse.  There about to leave when it starts to downpoor.  They chose to run through it because if they don’t they will be caught by slaviors.  They are people who enslave survivers to do work for them.  They come to a cliff and his dad falls in and cracks his skull.  luckily for them they get found by a hunting patrol from a town called settlers Landing where there are some of the survivers.  Later in the book the town is attacked by the same slaviors that tried to capture Stephen and his dad.  Whether the people of Settlers Landing will survive the attack you will have to read it to find out.

The fifth book in the awesome warriors series is a really good book to read.  In this book the main character, Fireheart (a cat) has to save his clan from a pack of incredibly vicious dogs that are lose and running wild in the woods.  At the same time, an evil power hungry cat – Tigerstar – plans to kill his former clan – Thunderclan, by leading the dogs there. Fireheart is the only cat that can save them because he was chosen in a prophesy that said, “Fire alone will save the clan.”  Fireheart and some of his clan mates go out to look for two other apprentices because they were missing for a long time.  these two apprentices had thought that they could save there clan all on there own but get caught by the by the dog pack.  One of the cats died and the other barely survived with her life when Fireheart and his clan mates find them.  Another cat Bluestar - the clan leader – has a really dilemma facing her. She has one life left out of 9 and has to decide to either save her clan and lose her last life or let her deputy - Fireheart – be destroyed by the dog pack. This is a hard decision for her to make because she has to chose between her own life or the life of her deputy, Fireheart.  Bluestar decides within seconds what she must do in order to save her clan.  And if you think you know what her decision was your just going to have to read the book to find out for yourself.  It’s probably not what you think–or maybe it is!
