In the book Touching Spirit Bear Cole is the mane character he beats a kid up from the kid reporting him to a teacher on him. This wasn’t the first time cole beat someone up. Cole got sent to circle justice in australia. When cole was there he burnt his house down and he had no place to be comfortable. Cole thought every thing on the island was dumb. Cole then tried to escape the island by swimming. Cole was on the swim team before he got in trouble for beating a kid up. Cole got on another island and cole almost pasted out but then he saw the touching spirit bear. Cole quickly turned around to get his knife but when he turned around the bear wasn’t there. Then cole made a spear so the next time the bear showed up he would kill him so cole kept the spear and the knife on the side of him at all times. The next time cole saw the touching spirit bear he grabed his spear and knife he put the spear over his shoulder and the knife in his other hand. He got to the bear and the bear clawed cole then bit him. Cole tryed to get away but he couldn’t get away then the bear put his paws on his chest and pushed down. Cole was hurt realy bad for at least three days once cole got off the island cole was in the hospital for six months then he had to go back to the island. when he got back the guy who droped him of had to stay with to see if he could stay there by his self.
I think people would like this book because its a book that cole is bad in the beging and then he changes after the bear atacked him and cole started caring more for people he stared to care more for the person that he beat up he wanted to help him get better. I liked this book because cole ended up caring for people at the end . The peson that cole beat up that kid started to care more for cole.
