This book I read is called Along Came A Dog. Along Came A Dog is by Meindert Dejong. The very long cold winter had ended.The main characters of this book are the little red hen and the big black dog In the book all the chickens pick on the little red hen, and also ignores her.One day in search of a home a big black dog came. The big black dog was humble and lonesome. The little red hen was cocky and also lonesome too. The hen and the dog grew a friendship, a strange and wonderful friendship. The dog protected the little red hen. But the little red hen wasn’t capable of protecting the dog from being chased off the farm. As they thought for a long time they had to figure out who would convience the man who owned the farm that the dog truely belonged there,

This book is kind of like a mystery. You have to keep reading to see what happens. The book was intresting to me so I kept reading to see what happened. I am not going to tell anything else because I don’t want to spoil it for you if you read it. I recomend this book to kids that like to read books that you have to read to the end to figure out what happens and why it happens. That is my book report for the book Along Came A Dog

Football Genius is about a boy named Troy. He is a sixth grader. He loves playing football, and trading football cards. He plays quarterback but he is not the starter because the quarterback who starts dad is the coach. Troy is better then the starter though. His back yard is basically train tracks. Him and his friends meet there all the time to trade football cards. One day he went far down the train tracks and there was a big brick wall all the way down it. Troy saw a little hole in it. He was nervous to look but he did. He saw that there was a couple huge houses and there was NFL players playing pass. He didnt want to get cought so he ran and went and told his friends. The next day in school the starter quarterback was making fun of Troy like every day. Troy told him he bets he can get a signed football from one of the Falcons player. He told him that his mom works for the Falcons. They made a bet. Troy knew his mom didn’t work for the Falcons. He had to steal a football from the place that he saw all the NFL players play with. So that night he snuke out of his house at midnight and went and got it. A alarm went off and he ran. He got it though. The next game he showed the bullie and he didn’t say anything.

When Troy went home one day his mom told Troy that she got a job for the Falcons. Troy was shocked. He woke up the next morning and saw his mom dressed in all Falcons stuff. When his mom came home she had two V.I.P tickets for the next game. So the next game they went and Troy got to meet some of the players like the star quarterback.

I read a book called Football Hero. It was about a kid named Ty. His parents died in a car crash when he was little. Now he lives with his Aunt and Uncle. They are poor, and usually when Ty is home he is outside splitting wood. One day before Ty was about to get onto his bus to go home the football coach asked hi if he wanted to stay after school for fall football. So he thought about it for a second and decided he would because it was his birthday and he thought is Aunt and Uncle wouldn’t care if he stayed after one day. Fall football was just for a week and it was just practice so the coach could see what his team was gouing to be like this year. When he got home his Uncle wasn’t home but his Aunt was and she didnt care. When his Uncle got home he had a present for Ty. Ty thought it was going to be something special but it was a paper saying that he is able to work legally. He was going to work for his Uncle’s business. That was just going to places around town and cleaning them. He would have to work from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. So he did and he kept going to the fall football for the week.  But what nobody knew was that Ty’s brother was a super star football playerfor Syracuse. He was going to be a pro soon. He didn’t tell anyone bcause he thought that they wouldn’t believe him. He finally told hioach and he said “wll why didn’t you say that before?” So when rgular football season cam closer his brother was going to be in the NFL draft. He invited Ty to come with him and get some dinner with him before it so Ty said yes. When Ty told his brother that he was playing football his brother said “thats great!” After their dinner they went to the draft and Ty’s brother got drafted to the Jets as a first round pick. When the draft was over Ty went home. Now it was time for Ty’s age limit football team to start their season. Ty asked his Uncle and h thought about it then said ”you can only if you make sure you are back for work”. Ty agreed and said he would be. So he went to the practices and found out he was going to be a wide reciever. He was a wide rciever because he was the fastst kid for his grade. So as the season went on he kept inproving and got much better. At the end of the book he ends up being one of the best on his team and is the football hero.
