I read a book called Al Capone Does My Shirts. This book is by Gennifer Choldenko. I would recomend this book to other people because some parts were really funny and some parts were really interesting. This book is about a boy named Moose who moved in the beggining of the book. He moved to ”a place with a twelve acre rock covered with cement, topped with bird  turd and surrounded by water.” That is what the book explained about how his new house looked. He lived on the island of Alcatraz. Moose was very scared about living on the island with his dad mom and sister because his dad worked as an officer there. The prisoners there are nice to him but not to his dad. It says in the book that other prisons would not exept people like this. One day Moose tried to help out one of the prisoners and he got caught and Moose had to join the prisoners for 1 week. Moose hated the prison and how they treated him and all the others. After one week he tried to explain to his dad how hard it was and how they should take the place down. His dad didnt listen to him and he also didnt want to hear anymore so he put him back in the prison. Moose had to live the rest of his life in prison because of his dad and how he didnt want to hear his own son. i hope you enjoyed my book review

I read a book called Football Hero. It was about a boy named Ty who had a dream of being a pro football player. Most of Ty’s life was spent trying to make money to help support his aunt and uncle financially . Ty lived with his aunt and uncle because when Ty was young, his mom and dad died in a car accident. He gets money for splitting wood and sells it to people. One day,  Ty was at school and his coach asked him if he wanted to stay after school for a football practice. He said yes and the coach told him he could practice for a week and if he was good enough he could be on the football team.  After school Ty got home and his uncle had an envelope.  He thought it was a present for his birthday, which was the next day, but it was just a job application for his uncle’s company. Ty’s brother invited him to see him get drafted for a pro football team and for dinner. His brother was at Syracuse for school because he had gotten a scholarship to play football there. The next day, Ty’s brother got drafted to the Jets. They went out for dinner for a celebration and Ty asked why he didnt tell anyone that he was getting drafted for a pro football team. He said that he thought no one would believe him. After he had dinner with his brother, he was motivated to become like his brother and make his football team.  After a week of hard work and dedication, Ty made the football team and became one of the best on his team. Ty hoped that soon he would be like his brother. THE END

I read a book called Stormbreaker. It is by Anthony Horowitz. It is about a boy named alex whos uncle

dies by getting shot. He was a secret government spy who was trying to figure out if a man named Herod

Sayle made Stormbreakers for a bad reason. After his uncle died he was asked by secret agents to be a

spy. He said yes and went into a secret spy training. He has many hard times during training such as

surviving 12 hours in a desert, climbing a 100 foot mountain, and almost quiting. After Alex’s training he

now has to do missions. Alex almost dies many times during his mission that his uncle left for him to

finish.  At one point Alex finds a map of the place were the Stormbreakers are being sent everywhere.

when Alex gets there he finds that you can go underneath Sayle enterprises. Alex follows the map of the

underground mining until he finds a wet suit to swim through cold deep water. He had to hold his breath

for two minutes until he gets to ancle deep water. Alex has now reached the doors into Sayle enterprises. alex opened a door to a storage room

he found another door going all the way into Sayle enterprises.once alex got in he found the room were the stormbreakers were being made. it looked normal until they added a poison.

now alex knew what he needed and he tried to get out of silas enterprises. alex remembered that he had to stop silas in 12 hours so he snuck on a helecopter aqnd traveled to london. he

looked at his watch 3 minutes until twelve he needed to stop the mayor from activating the button of the killing machines.alex started heading toward the meuseum with seconds to spare.

alex got to the roof of the meuseum and crashed through it.alexs parachute got stuck and was dangling over thousands of people. he saw the stormbreaker that activated all the other ones.

he took out the pistol he stole at silas enterprises and shot the gun. the first bullet hit the mouse of the stormbreaker the second hit the mayors hand and the last two hit silas. alex had saved

over 1 thousand people from getting poisoned.that is my report on stormbreaker.
