In the book Big Nate  the main character is Nate. In the biggining of the book nate and his friends are looking at baby pictures from kids in his school. They are in the 6th grade. While they are looking at the pictures nate finds this picture of someone he really like Penny or so he thought. After looking at the picture nates biggest enemy comes near… Gina! When she gets to nate she tells him that the picture isn’t of jenny it is of gina. Nate just felt misrable that he mistaken jenny for gina. So after school nate was walking home with his friends Francis and Teddy. All they did walking home was tease him about thinking gina was adorable as a baby. The next day at school nate remembered that next week was the beggining of fleace ball. he was so excited for it to begin and he got to be a captain. The only proboblem was that when he saw his team he saw that gina was on his team. He was really mad. Also gina ruined nates team by naming it the kuddle kittens since nate forgot to give the real team name to the gym teacher at the biggining of the day. After that week they had their first game. It was the last inning and nate was up to bat. The first pitch was a strike. Then it was a foul ball. Then the next pitch was last one to be trown. Nate griped the bat and swong away, but right when he swong he got distracted by gina’s little stuffed animal that would talked. Nate was as mad as could be because that cost them the game. As the season whent on they where 5 wins and 1 loss. Like the first game it was the last pitch and gina was up to bat. Nate knew right away that it was over. So when the pitcher trew the ball gina got ready. When gina swung nate couldnt belive it. Gina accualy hit the ball and it was a homerun. So nate was kinda suprised and mad but was happy to win. I would recremend this book to people that like comic books. my favorite part was when they played their last game.

In the book Always War it starts out in a theater during a play. In the play this girl was acting out a play and everybody was saying that she was the best and looked like an angel. When the play ended the two kids relized that something was happening and that no one was around. So after awhile of looking around for every one they found this plane. When they saw the plane they decided to go in. As they where searching the plane they didn’t notice that someone was also one so the random person went to the front of the plane to start it but then left it with them still on it. They started to freak out and not now what to do. So hopefully one of the two kids pretty much knew how to fly a plane. So he took over the controls and started to fly it. They where so scared because they didn’t know what to do. After a while they saw on the ground that looked like a battle going on. So then later they got even more scared because these other planes from the ground started to attack them and shoot them. The reason they where doing this is because they where mistaken for an enemy plane. They where doing everything to get away from the other planes. So finally they got away and never saw them again. So finally after a long day they they landed and got off the plane. They ended up being safe and started a new life with other people that where at the spot they landed at.

                       In the book 39 clues the main characters are Amy and Dan Cahill. I thought this was a really good book. i thought it was good because it had a lot of action so if you like action then i recamend this book to you. In the beggining amy and dan are looking for the second clue. The only problem is that thier cousins are after them trying to find the clue too. So their cousins keep setting them back so they can get ahead of them. They ended up finding a secret room which was called St. Peters tunel. It eventualy gets destroid buy their cousins. Before it breaks down they find a boat that they can escape with. Before  they can get out though they relize thier cousins are still after them so amy and dan get out of the disaster and ditch the boat so they can hide behide a broken down ship on shore. When thier cousins got out they had no clue of where they where. So they keep on going to look for them. By the time they left amy and dan came out of hiding and went on to find the clue. After awhile of searching they found out that they had another cousin that was part of the clue and his name was Wolfgan Mozart. So they relized that this was part of the clue. They also figured out that their next stop was ganna be Ausria, William Mclean. That is what happened in the book 39 clues.
