 The Graveyard Book  by Neil Gaiman  is about this boy named Nobody Owens. People don’t think he was normal. He would be normal if he didn’t live in a graveyard. Now Nobody Owens was raised by ghost and he was also educated by ghost.  But Nobody Owens  doesn’t care if hes educated by ghost he is used to it since he was raised by ghost. Also, since he lives in the graveyard  there are a lot of dangers and adventures for a him. There is this ancient Indigo Man that lays beneath the hill, there is a gateway to a desert that leads to abandoned city of ghouls. Nobody Owens has a friend named Bod and if Bod leaves the graveyard, then Bod will get attacked from the man Jack-who already killed bod’s family…. I would tell you more but it gives away of what happens in the book. If you wanna know what happens I recommend it that you read it.

       When Ms.Field introduced this book to the the class I was imeadietly hooked. It was a scary book. If you guys like scary books then you will love this one.  This book is probably one of the best books I’ve ever read. I don’t like reading but when i first read this book i thought it was the greatest. I never wanted to put it down.  Also when Nobody Owens was raised by ghost and was educated by ghost I thought to myself “ I would never want to be educated by ghost i’m scared of ghost.”

         The book  The  Wanderer   by  Sharon Creech is a really good book. My brother recommended it to me because he said that he read this book through 6th and 8th grade. This book is about this thirteen-year-old girl named Sophie. Now she is the only girl on the surly crew of The Wanderer. Sophie’s three uncles and her two cousins built this ship. They sail across the Atlantice Ocean. They are heading towards England. England is the land of her Bompie, her grandfather.  As Sophie was sailing the sea calls to her promising the adventure and the chance to explore and discover. But as Sophie start to sail the personal journey she takes brings her deeper and deeper into a forgotton past than she ever knew she could travel to.

         Sophie’s cousin that is thirteen and named Cody isn’t even sure why his father brought him with everybody on this journey.  In the story everyone even his father thinks that Cody is a knuckleheaded doofus, but despite the goofing around,Cody thinks that he has the strength to prove himself to his father and the crew. During Sophie’s and Cody’s travel logs the amazingly experience of  everyones journey it starts to unfold. The past and the daily challenges that they do to survive at the sea swirl together as The Wanderer sails towards England, and its passengers search for their place in the world.

      What i found out in the story is that Shoron Creech was aNewbery Medal winner. Also the novel is an adventure of a courageous girl’s journey across the sea into the memories of her past..that is what The Wanderer is about. I would reccomend this book to anyone because if you like to read about advantures then this is a great book. Also if this sounds like a good book and you want to know what happenes then you can read and find out more.

        Get ready to be amazed by the book “Double Idenitiy” by Margaret Peterson.

This book is about a thirteen year old girl named Bethany. Her parents aren’t normally as she says.  Her mom cries all the time  and her father barely lets Bethany out of his sight.  Then Bethany’s father starts Hustling Behtany’s mom and bethany into the car. He drives over abunch of different states and dropps Bethany off at her aunt Mrylie’s house. Know Bethany never knew she had a aunt. At this moment Bethany is clueless. She is trying to figure out what is going on, but nobody will tell her anything.

    Bethany’s heard her father and Mrylie saying, “ She doesnt know anything about Elizabeth.” then Bethany is now on  mission to find out who Bethany is, nbut aunt Mrylie wont say anything to Bethany about Elizabeth. Also when Mrylie took Bethany to go  swimming at the YMCA people were looking at Bethany like she ahd two heads or they have seen a ghost.

     Then Bethany found a package from her dad that had four different birth certificates from four different. It also had four different last names on it and it had  thousands of dollars in cash. Later, this random guy comes to the door asking a bunch of questions, Bethany soon relizes that she wants to know what the secret is that is going on in her past. 

   What i have relised is that the author Margaret Peterson has so many twist and turns , that the anybody hat reade this amazing book will be hooke on it till the end.
