Hi everyone i have just finished my book the subtle knife. This book is about two people named Will and Lyra. Lyra has something called an alethiometer, which tells the truth if you ask it a question. Will escaped from his word into a world called Cittagazze through a window in the fabric of the universe. he was being chased by men in black who wanted letters his father wrote.in Cittagazze he meets Lyra and they fight for the subtle knife. They learn from an old man who was the owner of the knife that one side of the knife cut through any thing in any world. They also learn that the other side can cut through the fabric of the universe into another world. This knife is what made the window that will found. So Will and Lyra journy through the wolds to give lord  Asriel (Lyra’s father) the knife to help him win a great war. That is what The Subtle Knife is about.

Hi Ms. Field, its me Ryan again.  The book I choose to read and do my review on is a book by Rick Riordan called The Lightning Thief.  Its a really good book and I enjoyed reading it. It’s about a kid named Percy Jackson. He has A.D.H.D., dyslexia and he is about to get kicked out of boarding school again.  The real problem for Percy is that monsters from Greek myths are coming to life! And of course to make matter worse, Zeus thinks that Percy stole his master lightning bolt!  Percy doesn’t know what to do, until he receives a message from Zeus that was delivered by Isis, the rainbow and messenger goddess.  In the message, he is told by Zeus that he must find the master lightning bolt within ten days, until the summer solstice. Percy is thrusted into a quest with his friends Grover & Anabeth. He and his friends fight many monsters from across the United States. On top of all that Percy has to contend with, his Mom has been kidnappped by Haitis, the Greek God of the Underworld.  So he must find out who stole the Master lightning bolt and recapture his Mom.
