In the second book of the twilight saga, Jasper tries to attack Bella on her birthday when she slits her finger. Because of that incident Edward leaves Bella because he doesn’t want to hurt her.

 Later on Bella becomes great friends with Jacob Black and finds out he is a wolf (shape shifters). She also meets the pack. Sam Uly, he saved her out in the woods after the devastation from when Edward left her. She also met Seth Clearwater along with his sister Leah. Also Paul, Quil, Embry, Harry Clearwater and Sue Clearwater Seth and Leah’s parents, Emily the girl Sam is dating/ imprinted on.  Bella then hears the legends of the earlier wolf packs and how they fought with the vampires. She also hears about the third wife and how she sacrificed herself for her husband. the wolf. Soon after the phone rings and Jacob answers. “Carlile” says he wants to talk with Charlie and Jacob responds, he is at a funeral.  The phone goes dead.

Later in the book Alice comes over Bella’s and says that she saw Edward go to the volturi to ask if they could kill him. Jacob cuts in and tells about the call. Alice starts yelling at Jacob because it was Edward and he thought Bella was dead. Since Jacob said he was at a funeral then Edward thought it was Bella’s. He saw her Jump of the Cliff.

Alice and Bella then take a flight down to Europe when they only have 10 minutes till it is noon and Edward exposes himself in the sunlight. Then the Volturi will definitely kill him. The Volturi are like a royal family to vampire. Bella ends up running in a fountain and then into Edward to save him. It is hard for Bella to convince Edward he’s not dead and neither is she but she found a way.

The Volturi take Edward, Alice and Bella down a long hallway/drain. They end up inside a building and lead into a conference room. Aro has the power to read everything you’ve thought or seen through your life only if he touches you. He reads Alice’s, Bella’s, and Edward’s mind. After that Edward hears one of the Volturi’s thoughts and attacks him, they fight. There’s a  lot of commotion since the thought was about how good Bella smelt and looked. Soon after the Volturi come to a conclusion that since Bella knows to much they are going to spare her life only if she becomes a vampire in the next year. So Edward, Alice, and Bella all leave and go back to Forks. When they get there the Cullen family is all there. Emse says, thanks for saving him I don’t think I could have done what you did. Thanks for keeping our family together.

Jacob is kind of more than mad and upset the Cullens are back and the treaty goes back to work even with the boundaries. Bella also discovers she likes Jacob but stays with Edward. In the end Edward and Bella stay together and everything goes back to “normal.”

My opinion about this book is that it was very good. I also enjoyed the whole series. I think a lot of people read these because there into dangerous romance and action. That is my opinion about this book.

In this book this girl named Livi has a terrible secret. She has two sisters, her older sister’s name is Faye and her younger sister’s name is Cricket. Her dad is really upset and through out this book everyone is hard on Livi and her older sister is very rude to her. Livi has been kind of mean to Cricket in the beginning. Even though they are going through a lot Livi reveals her secret in the beginning of the book. But i am not going to tell you what it is you are going to have to find out for yourselves.

In the begging of the book it says that Livi’s dad pulled up in the drive way and took mama inside. What that means is he took her and the hospital bed from the hospital and argued. He would not take no for an answer and decided he was going to keep her home with her family. The nurse came and set every thing up, she explained that someone has to be with her at all times to make sure she is OK. Then all of a sudden Livi’s oldeer sister came over and shouted, “mama isn’t breathing,” the nurse came over and shook mama and she started to breath again. It made Livi feel uncomfortable knowing that you have to shake her if she isn’t breathing. Livi didn’t even want to think about that.

Livi went back to school that day and everyone felt bad for her about what happened to her mom. The teacher said if she needed a brake she could have one. Livi just wanted that day to go by. She didn’t want all her friends on her and worried, anyway it was the last day of school. She was tired, upset, and annoyed that everyone was staring at her sense the incident.

A few weeks later her aunt came over with T-boy. His real name was Thibodaux, he would yell at you is you called him that. He and Cricket got along really well. Livi said it acted as if they were boyfriend and girlfriend. They once saw her doing something that was not O’kay for her dad to know. She had to bribe them to keep it a secret.

I am going to skip most of the middle so you can find out the really cool stuff. In the middle it reveals about her mom though that is mostly why i am not going to talk about that. It does get a little sad though so you might want to read it you will be surprised by the result. It probably isn’t what you think for the sadness, it is probably something different.

I think this book was very interesting it mostly talked about Livi and her troubles but the mystery about her mom was cool. I was wondering if she would survive or not but that is what kept me reading. If you like sad, adventurous, and mystery books you might like it. I think that it is sad because of Livi’s mom, adventurous because Livi’s going in streams, and shes running, and getting bossed around. I also think it’s a mystery book again, because of Livi’s mom. that was my opinion and idea of this book.

 This book is about two twins named Connor and Grace, they were separated and then brought back together, in the first book. In this book they decided to go on the Pirate ship instead of the Vampirate ship and have more fun adventures along the way.

Connor and his friends call themselves The Three Buccaneers.  Jez, Bart, and Connor were very close until Jez died in a battle.  After his death they all went to Ma’s Kettle to celebrate the things Jez did for them. It was there that Grace met Cheng Li.  Connor and Grace decided to go to the pirate academy. Connor made two new friends and thier names were Jacoby and Jasmine.   Mean while Grace gets a visit  from the vampirate, Darcey.  She  has a chat that makes Grace get a feeling her good friend Lorcan is in bad shape.  

 In the next few chapters Grace keeps on going back and forth to the vampirate ship and the pirate academy. Really only her spirit is going or its sort of only  a ghost of her,  since she can’t touch anything. She finds out that Lorcans can’t see since he stayed in the light and vampirates can only go outside when its dark, and he’s not taking blood so he is very week and frail.  So Grace tries to stay but the mist appears and she goes back to the academy.  She goes there five times but then they won’t call her back for another. Grace gets upset so she stands on the ocean wall and she jumps in waiting for them to call. She goes under the water and comes up father away from the wall and no ones around her. Now she goes  under and relizes  she’s sinking and then all of a sudden a hand goes on her back. She says Lorcan and a voice talks back but only it’s not Larcan, its Connor. She sees him for a second but then her vision goes blurry and she wakes up in the infirmary

Grace left a note on her desk for Connor.  Grace over hears the nurse talking to Connor and saying the note was a horrible thing for a brother to find. When Connor wakes up he tells his friends and they feel really bad, and decide  to go check on Grace. When they do she is still sleeping and looks pale and her breathing sounds all messed up. The next few days pass and then the forth day Connor goes and checks on grace and he sits and talks to her while she’s sleeping and when he reaches his hand out it goes right through hers. He tries two more times then says they came back for you Grace didn’t they,the vampirates came back for you, and then the nurse comes in and then Connor leaves the infirmary. 

When Connor gets to the front yard he sees Captain Wrathe and goes back on the ship with them. When he starts to go up the ladder and sees Bart waiting for him. Connor goes to Ma’s Kettel to celebrate his return.

Grace feels the deck of the vampirate ship beneath her feet, and see’s Darsey and asks her not to ring the night fall bell so she can save Lorcan before all the vampirates come on deck. When she gets down in the cabins she convinces Lorcans to come up on the deck and has a long discussion, you need to start drinking blood again your getting to weak Grace said . Now I’m not gonna give away the ending so your going to have to find out what Lorcan does. 

My opinion about the book is that it was very interesting and used lots of detail. I also think this is one of the most interesting series I’ve ever read in my life. I feel that way since it’s a topic  I’m into and really enjoy.  I love those danger books so if you like adventure, vampires, and pirates this is a good book that you might be into. The other thing is you have to start with book one cause when you start reading book two you’ll have no clue what they are talking about in the beginning. My opinion is that I liked the first book a little better. Starting in the middle going down to the end is the most interesting part in book two.  But that’s just my opinion.
