In honor of Digital Literacy Day, the second grade students reflected on their learning. They used a site called Linoit.  It is a site where you can post notes virtually.

Today the kids also learned how to copy and paste a gadget onto their blog page.  They are so excited to have a virtual pet. We’d love it, if you’d check them out and post some comments!  Just click on “All Blogs” above and find a pet or click on the link below.  I heard that some kids will be going home tonight and adding some more pets to their blog pages too.

Virtual Pets

Today, we learned how to put a pet on our blog page. We went to the gadgets and copied the code. Then we went to our blog page and pasted it to our page. I hope you like my special gadget.

Today, the second grade students will be learning how to import gadgets onto their blog page!  Then they will be writing about their new pet gadget.  It should be a lot of fun.  The kids really love doing this.  Here are a few examples below.
