The last novel for readers workshop I have decided to read was the biography Kurt Cobain by Cristopher Sanford. This book goes into immense detail about the troubled rockstars life. From his stomach ulsers that caused his heroin addiction to his shady marriage to Cortney Love. The story tells of the struggles of his band Nirvana and the “grunge” revolution that they lead. I enjoyed this book very much. I’m a big Nirvana fan and to read about Kurt Cobain’s life and death was pretty cool. The over all biography is a little depressing seeing how it deals with the struggles of his life including the suicides in his family, and the tramatic scenes he saw as a child. I don’t want to give any of it away but if your a nirvana fan then deffinetly read it or pick up any other book about Kurt Cobain. He is such an intresting character that the world of music history can never overlook him. If i had to rate it 1 out of 10 id rate it an 8.
