Hi Everyone,
This is the order that you should have your reflection written. I have put new questions for you to answer in BLUE
1. What is the environmental goal? How has your research and discussion helped you to understand the goal?
(this is based on your group)
2. Write about your experience so far. How are you participating? What new expectations do you have about your topic?
3. Write about a memorable experience you have had during this project. How has your understanding of the goal increased during this process? COPY THIS FROM YOUR 5-E WEIGHS IN BLOG
4. What are three major accomplishments of your project?
5. How did your class project make a DIFFERENCE? (copy from old blog) Why was this project important?
6. How did you personally make a difference (Copy from old blog)
7. How will you keep the project’g goals alive at your school, in your community, and/or in your life?
Please do a very thorough and thoughtful job. One piece of feedback that we got last year was the school-wide aspect of this project, and on how this project can be carried forward in the future without you.

For homework tonight, you are going to research Henry Hudson and create a voki about Henry Hudson.
Use the following links to do your research on Henry Hudson:
Think Quest site
Empire of the Bay site
Then create a Voki about Henry Hudson. Your voki should look pretty authentic. You should post your Voki link on your Kid Blog and title the post “Meet Henry Hudson”
This is due on Thursday
Hi Everyone,
I added another group where we could put our portfolio samples. I’ll talk to you about it tomorrow :)

Mrs. E at Great Meadows
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all staying cool in this summer heat. Yesterday, I had a chance to go with Dr. Windmiller and three other biologists looking for some of the head starts. We started at Great Meadows where we traversed through very high cattails, through shin deep muck to find three head starts. Two were buried pretty deep into the muck whereas the other one was pretty deep in about an 18 inch deep marshy area. You will have to go to our Blanding’s turtle site (http://room305blandingsturtles.wordpress.com/) to find out about my adventures in Moore’s Swamp.
