Garden club is a new initiative at our school. Starting in Term 4, the second half of lunchtime, every Monday is dedicated to tending our vegetable garden. Whatever job is required, from weeding, watering, adding soil to bare roots, to planting new seeds or seedlings, we do it.

To celebrate the work the group has achieved thus far, we spent the last day of school, enjoying some of the herbs of our labour - mint and basil to be precise. With a pre-purchased loaf of bread and some tomatoes (ours aren't quite ripe!) and lemons from some students gardens, we put together our own bruschetta dish with an accompanying lemon/mint cordial.

Enjoy the Holidays and have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!

P.S. There are photos to share with you, but the 10MB limit has been reached so some problem solving is in progress....

Ok, this is the only way around it at this point...
