From this experience I learned how to navigate through the site screenr. I have never recorded myself on the computer before so I also learn how to do this. This was a interesting activity to me I found it interesting what you can do or teach through a small video clip.

The video was really interesting.  I learned about different apps and tool that I have at my access whether thru Ipad or ipod touch.  Most children have or have access to technology and it would be beneficial for students to learn what they can use to simplify projects and presentations.  The presenter gave a very good demonstration of presentation and what tools were needed.

Project based learning is the future, students already have the technology, they just need the tools in order to be success at using their technology in a more useful and constructive way.  The app world has thousand of free apps to choose from and most are free to the user.

I also learned about knowing how to ask the right questions in order to enhance thinking skills and creativity.  These questions also gets the audience interested more in the subject that is being discussed.  Learning via hand held device is definitly in or future, sooner than later.

A pechua kucha is a powerpoint of twenty slides. The slides must have on picture on it with no words. If you need to cite something then you can put it on the slide. Each slide is twenty seconds long and that is the amount of time you have to talk per slide. An outstanding pecha kucha is one that keeps the audiences attention, teaches something, and others can relate to it. i like when you can tell that the presenter knows what he/she is talking about.

I have never completed a pecha kucha before. I learned how to put a certain amount of time on the slides. I learned about copyright and that is very important when you are getting pictures. I already knew how to make a powerpoint before this assignment. This assignment encourages you to feel comfortable and confident when speaking in front of others.

You can talk about a topic when teaching young children and make sure its something that captures their attention. This is a great way to introduce a new subject. Some of your students may even be able to do this type of presentation and talk about something that interest them. It would be a good project for the development of the child.

I AM SO GLAD THAT THIS PROJECT IS OFFICIALLY OVER. I HAVENT LEARNED MUCH. IT REALLY HAS MY HEAD HURTING IT SEEMS LIKE MY SCRATCH WILL NOT CHANGE COSTUMES FOR ME. IF YOU HAVE OTHER STUFF GOING ON IT DOESNT WORK RIGHT. BUT MY FINAL SCRATCH IS SUPPOSE TO ILLUSTRATE MY SPRITE DOING THE DANCE “TWO STEP”. I USED THE WHIRL EFFECT AND COLOR EFFECT. I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE THE SPRITE CHANGE MULTIPLE COLORS BUT I COULDNT FIGURE IT OUT.

WELL MY SCRATCH PROJECT IS REALLY REALLY SIMPLE. I INCORPORATED A COUPLE OF THE THINGS WE LEARNED LAST WEEK. I USED THE DANCE TWIST/TWIRL AND I USED THE DANCE MOVE. MY VIDEO IS JUST ILLUSTRATING A WOMAN DANCING SAYING “ITS MY BIRTHDAY THIS SATURDAY” THIS IS AN ACTUAL FACT BECAUSE MY BIRTHDAY IS ON SATURDAY. I CHOSE A OLD WOMAN BECAUSE IM GETTING UP THERE IN AGE. BUT I ENTITLED IT MY BIRTHDAY.
