I had opening day. I had two games but I mostly want to talk about the second game. I forget what team we played but this game did not count.We batted first. When it was my turn to bat on my when I had two strikes and no balls I swing and hit it I start running but the pitcher runs after it and throws it to first and I get out. The game only had two innings so on the last inning when we were on the field the bases were loaded and the next batter was up. I focused on the ball the person hit it I caught. Then I ran to second and got another person out, so that is two people I got out then I throw to second and that person was out. OUR TEAM MADE THE FIRST EVER TRIPLE PLAY IN GIRLS SOFTBALL!!! Then the inning ends. But nobody won it was just for fun.

I finally finished Xtramath. Xtramath is a math program that test you on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Your teacher can also like bump you up so if you were in addition and you could not get past then your teacher can bump you up to subtraction. I finished addition then I got to subtraction and I could not get past. When I was in multiplication my teacher Mr.G bumped me up when I was in division the last thing to get from passing the whole thing I said to him, “Mr.G it never passes me even if I got everything right.”

Then he said, “Just try it one last time and if you do not pass you just do not have to do it again.”

So I did it then I got a couple wrong so I thought in my head Xtramath will NEVER pass me. So then after I finished doing the progress quiz I was like I am never going to pass. It PASSED ME!! I was so excited. I hope you like my post BYE!!!

We went on a field trip to Lowell Mills it used to be called Boot Mills but it is now Lowell Mills. After we got off the bus we went to this place to drop off our lunch. Then we went on this thing called a trolley to go see the mill. We kept looking in the water and there was a lot of rocks. He said he saw a musk rat once in the water. Then we got to see a demonstration of the water wheel inside of the mill.

Then we walked back and had lunch. Then we went to this placed where we saw how the mill girls made thread.

Then we went to this place where we made canals. Did you know that men who immigrated from Ireland made the canals? So we had to build a canal by these tubes. There were three big tubs of water, one of them was the Merrimack river, one was the Atlantic Ocean, and the other was the Pacific Ocean. Then when it was all done and the water was running it all started to work except one. There was one wheel that did not work but we did not want to fix it because we were afraid that all the other ones would not work if we tried to fix it.

Then we went to a boarding house and there were two beds in this small room and there were no BATHROOMS!!! Then we left.

It was really fun BYE!!

I like this book because the author really builds suspense. It is really kind of like a big adventure.

The present for my dad’s friend’s wife was FIREWORKS. They were so pretty. Her birthday was on Saint Patrick’s Day too! The Fireworks were so loud it surprised us when he first set them off. We were playing flashlight tag when he set them off. Some of them like five of the fireworks had like these little G I Joe. I caught one but then I looked at it then gave it to somebody else. Then after the fireworks we had a bunch of sparklers.
