On a September day in 1918, a pilot and co-pilot were flying in a training mission in an open cockpit biplane. Neither wore a seat belt or a parachute. The pilot did a steep dive and his co-pilot fell out of the plane. The pilot could see the man free falling. There was nothing he could do. His co-pilot was falling to his death. He dove down, trying to get under the man. He lost sight of him. All of a sudden, he heard a thud at the back of the plane. It was his co-pilot. Some how as the co-pilot was falling the pilot got far enough under to catch the co-pilot! A short time later the men had landed safely. Both were speechless and unhurt.

Next time I will try to do one of those crazy but true stories. 
My whole class took a trip to Lowell Mills. On the bus it was really boring. I learned that 15 to 30 girls had to fit into a tiny 3 floor room. My favorite part of the trip was when the boys tested the water wheels for speed and strength.The girls got to make canals. My whole class got to ride in a trolley. It was pretty fun. When we walk in the loom room when the looms was on it was really loud. Our class got to walk up a spiral stair case. Me,Tommy,Gabby and Kendall got to work on some pulleys. We made the pulleys spin in opposite direction, it was really cool. On the bus ride home me and Tommy played punch buggies. The field trip was pretty fun.
