Geography greatly impacts the diversity in South East Asia. It is diverse in many ways. One of them being the sports each country plays. Next, is the way they dress including neck stretching. Last, would be family life.
To start off, each region had their own sports they played. However, there were many different games that were being played through out the region. This was because of the geography. Some of the games that were played in the flat land were not always played in the mountains. For example, one of these games would be elephant polo. This game was played in Thailand. Thailand was one of the mainland countries so this is a sport they played. However, on the islands out at sea such as Indonesia would not play this game. They would be swimming. The reason these games were not played all over South East Asia was because of the geography and lack of technology and communication.
Next, fashion is also a big way their culture is expressed. Each region in South East Asia has their own style of clothing based off of their surroundings. For example the long neck women. This is a sign of beauty in their culture. It helps the men tell them apart from others. Also the altitude played a role in what they wear. For example if you live up in the mountain ranges, you would be wearing heavier clothing then the people on the coastal shorelines since the temperature would be colder up there.
Last families have their own traditions just like families have their own here. The mountain range families have different traditions then the island and the islands are different from the mainland. Also sex and human trafficking is allowed in South east Asia. This helps farmers and their families. Farmers might have had a family farm running for a wile and they didn’t want that to go away. However, geography does impact the diversity of South east Asia.
