It is the middle of the night and rodrick comes in and wakes greg up and says its time for school.Greg goes down stairs and gets ready for school he brushes his teeth,eats cereal.His dad comes down stairs and yells at him and says its the middle of the night go to bed.Greg says rodrick messed with his alarm clock.Rodrick is in bed sleeping.The next morning its time for them to go to school greg has a terrible time at school.Greg is bored and he goes over to rowleys house to play video games.Rowley is his best friend.Rowleys dad looks up the game online and he finds out it is inapropriat for there age so they cant play.Now it is halloween and greg tells rowley not to get an embarrising costume an he does excactly that greg is mad.Greg dresses as a cowboy. Rowley dresses as a knight.Greg and Rowley get chased by some guys so they go hide at gregs grandmas house.They stay there for a while then they comeow hes grounded out with somes tools like a lawn blower and they start running home.The next morning they go to school and at lunch they sit behind the trashcan again.Finnally its the weekend greg says so he goes over to rowleys house and plays video games but of course the dad checks the game but he uses one of his little brothers games so he can play a really vilent game.When the dad comes in the room to see if there hungry he fines out there playing a vilent and rowley gets in trouble and is grounded for two weeks techinicaly hes not allowed to talk or play with him for a week.Rowleys dad tells gregs mom and greg is grounded for a month and he has to stay at his grandpas with his brother rodrick.He also has to do the talent show with rowley as his punishment.Rodrick really wants to do the talent show with his band loaded dieper but he cant because hes punished for throwing a party so now hes grounded.As gregs other punishment he has to go on a vacation with rowley and his family.Greg said it was the worst week of his life because they went to water place and i dont remember what it was called.Finnally the vacation was over and greg went home and he was boared to death he litterly didnt know what to do.Ok so the talent show was here and he had to go on with rowley as his assistant he thought he was going to die but then he figured out that rowley wasnt that bad.So after that greg and rodrick made up and know rodrick can play with his band.The thing is they had a replacement for him since he couldnt play but they kicked the other guy out of the band.And they played and they wont the talent show with rowley coming in second palce rodricks mom so proud of both of them and she started crying and so they left and finnally it was summer time.
