     If you could go to a very famous singer concert but had to buy tickets from a friend would you buy them ? That’s what happens in this story as the main character that is going through high school. In this  story Armpit goes through many hard decisions that lead to many situations. This book will grab you and pull you in the story. 

  The setting of the story mainly takes place in Austin, Texas.  During the story, the main character was invited to San Francisco and that is when the story became really interesting.  The main characters in the story are Armpit, X-Ray, Kaira Deleon, El Genius, and Ginny.   Armpit, or his real name Theodore, has a criminal record, but is nice.  He is also good with kids and caring.

     Armpit talks to X-Ray.  X-Ray wants some money to buy Kaira Deleon concert tickets to resell.  Armpit helps pitch in to buy tickets and sells all but two.  Armpit invites a girl to go to the concert with him, but she has family plans.  So he takes Ginny, his neighbor, who has a medical problem.

 They go to the concert and sit down and find out they have fake tickets.  Which causes Ginny to have a seizure.  Kaira came out to see if she was okay.  Soon Kaira and Armpit fell in love and Armpit was invited to stay with her in a San Francisco hotel.

 El Genius, Kaira’s manager, almost killed Kaira by hitting her with a baseball bat.  Armpit saved her by coming in, but then broke his arm.  Kaira was hit on her vocal cords and could not speak and was taken to the hospital.  It ends up, that Armpit found out that Kaira could barely sing again.  In the story, it says that her voice sounded like “fine crystal that might break at any moment” (page 254).   Even though Kaira was okay, Armpit and her never got back together.

     The story taught me not to buy and resell tickets, because you can get in big trouble.  I really liked it when Armpit went and saved Kaira by coming in a door and fighting a little bit.  I did not like when I found out that Kaira and Armpit did not get back together.  I wondered why El Genius would try to kill Kaira.

     I would recommend this book because it is a book that is exciting and scary at the same time and makes you want to keep reading.  I think it would be a good book for people who like action and love stories.

I’ve recently been reading,The Ghost And Mrs.Hobbs, it’s about Allie interviewing Mrs.Hobbs. Every year on elders day Allie is suppose to bring an elder to school. This year she is suppose to interview an elder. She picks the snapping turtle also known as Mrs.Hobbs. She tells the teacher that she wants to do it because  most people don’t know her very well, but she really chose Mrs.Hobbs because a ghost told Allie something that may be connected to Mrs.Hobbs. I can connect with this by when I was little I used to try to solve little mysteries whereas Allie is trying to figure out what the ghost wants so basically she is trying to solve a mystery.
