My report is on the book Jackie and me . The book is about a kid who can travel through time by holding baseball cards . The author is Dan Gutman , he was born in New york city on October 19 , 1955 . when Dan was one years old him and his family moved to New jersey where he still lives today with his wife Nina and his to kids Emma and Sam . I hope you like my report . Next I will list the characters . Joe Stoshack or stosh is a nice , smart, and funny kid who loves to play baseball , collect baseball cards, and travel through time by holding baseball cards . Jackie Robinson was the first African American to be a professional baseball player. He also played a big part in the Civil Rites movement . Other Characters are Joe`s mom and dad , Jackie`s wife and his son, and also Flip witch is Joe`s best friend that owns a baseball card shop.The third thing I will say is my summary on the book Jackie and me.The book starts off with Joe stoshack playing baseball. The pitcher Bobby Fueler is really getting on Joe`s nerves. Joe does a good job of keeping his cool and staying focused until Bobby made fun of  his nationality by calling him a dumb Pollack . That put Joe over the edge so he throws his bat at Bobby and starts charging him , it ended up in a huge brawl between everybody . After everybody was calmed down it was the end of the game and Joe`s team lost . The next day at school Joe is assigned a report on Jackie Robinson . Because Joe can time travel by holding baseball cards Joe decides to get a 1947 Jackie Robinson rookie card from Flips fan club which is a baseball card shop. The reason Joe wants the card is so he can go back in time and ask Jackie Robinson questions for his report . At first Joe`s mom said no to the idea but Joe told her he was doing it for a report on Jackie Robinson . His mom changed her mind and let`s him go on the journey. That night Joe took a card from his time and put it in his pocket , then he took the Jackie Robinson card and held it in his hand . Joe feels a tingling sensation in his hands and then his whole body. The next thing you know Joe is in Brooklyn in 1947 . Joe finds out that when he got to Brooklyn he changed from a white person to an African American . Joe took a cab to Jackie`s house were he met Jackie Robinson, Mrs. Robinson, and Jackie Jr. . They let Joe stay in there home until Thursday because  Joe`s dad wanted him to get some baseball cards . On opening day Joe got a batboy job for the Dodgers . Because of the job Joe was always around Jackie . While Jackie was playing he didn`t do so good . That made everybody mad including Jackie. Jackie also didn`t get treated very well by people threatning him and pitchers trying to hit him, some of the teams wouldn`t even play against him. The next thing Joe had to worry about was getting baseball cards for his dad. He gets the cards but somebody steals them, Joe ended up getting an autograph from Babe Ruth when the Dogers played the Yankees. On Thursday Joe took the card from his time and held it until he was in his own time in his bedroom sleeping . That same day Joe and his team were playing in the championship game against Bobby Fullers team . The game was tied 6 to 6 in the bottom of the sixth inning . Joe got a hit that put him on first base, then he stole second base after that he stole third base . He won the game by doing a really risky move by stealling home . Like Jackie Joe kept his cool and didn`t fight back . He let the playing do the talking, and he did that by stealling home to win the championship for his team . Lastly I will say my Recomendation on the book Jackie and me . The reason I picked this book was because I really liked the other books in the series and it looked interesting . I am definitely glad that I read this book because  now I know kind of what it would be like to meet Jackie Robinson . If I were a critic I would say something like exiting, funny, and a pretty good story altogether .

Help Help I`m having a crises my hill has been crushed by a giant egg . It was a crisp spring day me and my fellow ant workers were gathering and making lunch for our Queen . Then all of a sudden a GIANT EGG crushes everybody exept me because I was gathering some fruit for the fruit salad . The egg got what he deserved because he  brook into a million peices . It was halairius!

I read the end of roll of thunder hear my cry . I found out what roll of thunder hear my cry is its a poem. T.j. got in trouble with the simeses and got heart really bad so all the kids in the middle of the night snuck out to save him. they  had to hid in the woods until Cassie and the others went and told papa and mama so papa went to save them and he did . While he was gone lightning caused a fire in there cotton field and everybody came to help and even all the people that were going to hert T.J and eventually the fire got put out . T.J. died  and I think his soel will live on through the land.

I am at chapter 9 and almost done with it . What has hapend so far is, the kids have to go to school,little man gets in trouble because of what a book said in the cover . They have to walk every day and a bus always gets them dirty, so they make a big puddle of slush and the bus gets stuck . Then  papa comes and they meet mister morrison . Then Big Ma takes cassie to a place to talk about her grandfather . Big Ma takes Cassie to the store  in Strawberrie , cassie gets nocked in to the street . Uncle Hammer comes and wants to hurt the person who did it  Mister Morrison had to stop him . It was around Cristmas time and what everybody got books they loved them. When they went back to school mama got fired because everybody thoght that it was T.J. so everybody didn`t like T.J. fore a while.
