This is my book report about The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Hopefully you leaned about my book and will read it.

Leave a commentMy book is called The secret garden It’s about this girl named Mary. She lives in India for about ten years then she moves to Yorkshire, England. In India she was spoiled and then a disease that made everyone sick and she would find some one’s plate and eat was left on it then after everyone was gone see was still there!!!! After a police officer finds her she is sent to England and stays with a woman for just a little while, then is sent to her Uncle’s house that’s a mansion in Yorkshire, England. At the mansion she learns from her maid Martha to like people and to stay active. One day at the mansion she found a garden that has not been touched in ten years! The same day she talkes to Martha about geting gadening tools Martha tells Mary that she could write a letter to Martha’s little brother Dickon. Mary gets the supplise from Dickon and they become friends. Dickon comes to the garden every day he can. A little after she finds a boy in the mansion his name is Colin. Mary and Colin are cousins. Mary keeps knowing about the garden a secret. One day she tells colin about the garden. Colin has a really bad back and so she can not take Colin to the garden until Dickon can push his wheel chair and one day he does go to the garden. You will have to read the book to figure out what happens next.
I can relate to this story because I have found super cool stuff and didn’t tell anyone about them. I have also seen and planted gardens before. Just like Mary, Colin, and Dickon. I think I am like Dickon in that I like to garden and be around animals. I an like colin some days I feel like I could spend the restof my life outside.i am like mary because I feel like comparing people to other people I know.

How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockel shells,
And maidiens all in a row.
I’m Miss Mary and if you ask me one more time that stupid question that everybody asks me… it’s the one where they ask me how my garden grows, I will personally take a pan to your head. The imbeciles ask me that question every day. I mean is it to much to look behind me at that old garden yourself? And it isn’t their business what I’m doing to my garden. Its like me asking, “hey how long did it take you to take the garbage out?” None of my business, right? Then right after that they say what’s inside the garden and would they know what’s in the garden if they haven’t even looked.
Sooooo they are just asking for me to clonk them on the head with the answer, right? I try to keep my cool and answer with “My garden is growing quite well and with those maidiens all in a row” even though I have a pan hidden in the bushes.
I can connect to the passage I wrote in that I’ll get mad at someone for asking a question over and over again just like Mary.
Leave a commentThe main idea of the book Leon and the spitting image so far is Leon this weird kid and his two friends having to figure out this strange teacher of there’s.I wonder what Leon’s friends think of this teacher of there’s? I wonder this because the book only sees it from Leon’s point of view and not anyone else. I’ve also seen that the teacher only gives Leon a hard time in that she makes a chart that tells them how far they and everyone is up to date but Leon. I think that Leon is going to try really hard to fix his sowing because if he does not he will lose his only free time recess.
I can conect to this story in that some times I will have a hard subject and if I don’t practice it at home I will have to give up recess time.
Leave a commentI am reading a book called Sir Givret the Short. It is about a man who is short and his name is Givret. He asks the king if he can join the hunt, the king says yes and knights him. When it is time for the hunt the king needs someone to watch his queen. Nobody wanted to do the job so Girvret volenteered. During the hunt the queen was insulted by a knight so Girvet outwitted the knight and sent him to Scotland. Another knight named Sir Erec went to go punish the knight and would not be reasoned with. So Sir Givrets first quest was to help Sir Erec. In the prosess Sir Eric got married to a beautiful lady. You will have to read the book to figure out what will happen next.
I can connect to this story by the Harry potter series in that Harry did not try to be the center of attention but he was. Just like Givret he did not try to be the center of attention but he was.
