The Hunger Games is the first book in the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.  The book’s main character Katniss Everdeen is poor and goes hunting outside the barrier to survive . The next character Gale is a friend of Katniss and hunts with her out of the fence to eat.  The next character Peeta is the son of the baker and one of the tributes who helps Katniss throughout the games.  Haymitch is one of the only winners from district 12 and helps Katniss and Peeata train while drunk. Primrose is Katniss’ sister. The story takes place in District 12 which symbol is coal miners and where Katniss hunts, The Arena is where the games take place and is different every year. The story begins with Katniss who is getting ready to go hunting so she listens to see if the electric fence on and it’s silent soshe climb through the holes in the fence and finds her friend Gale and they try to find plants and animals to eat. Later after they went hunting the reaping began where they would draw names who would be a tribute but each district has to have 2 tributes one a boy one a girl and 12 year olds have to put their name once and progress by one by your age until you’re 19 then you are not eligible to compete. When the games began the tributes sprinted for stuff. The closer you got to the cornucopia in the center the better the stuff and near the outside the gear is worse. When the gong sounded they all sprinted for stuff Katniss grabbed an orange backpack and ran in to the nearby forest where a girl from a distance threw a knife at her and she used the backpack as cover and the kinfe hit the backpack and she ran in the forest. Later in the book she meets a girl named Rue who she teamed up with and they split up to find some more plants to eat and Katniss went one way and Rue the other. When Katniss found something to eat she heard Rue scream and she started to sprint towards her scream when she got there she saw Rue in a net and got stabbed with a spear by a District 1 guy and then Katniss shot him in the neck with a bow and arrow she got from the girl she dropped a tracker jacker nest on. Later she heard an announcement saying that if both people from the same district survive they both can win. She heard Cato one of the tributes with his group say that Peeta got cut from him and ran so Katniss tried to find him and so she walked down a small stream and found him camoflauge on the ground. She rinsed him in the stream and took him to a cave. When the last few tributes died so it was just three left so they go drawn to the cornucopia and then they got on top of the cornucopia and Cato fell off and werewolve forms of the tributes nearly killed him and then Katniss shot him upside down in the face.

The story starts with a tenant named David who lives with is landlady Liz. David had enough money to go with his professor Bergstrom and his friend Zanna because Zanna won. When they went to the arctic David wrote a story about polar bear who is on a quest to get a tooth from David . When they are there what David writes happens in reality. Eventually the polar bear he writes in his story ( its name is Ingavar ) finds him when he goes to get groceries in Chamberlain Canada because the research base is 10 miles out of Chamberlain. Later in the story David leaves the artic. Then his writing dragon wrote a name on his pad the name was Arthur then Liz fainted. She woke up in a hotel and they told David who Arthur was. Then the story goes to where Arthur was on a island when this happend. Where Arthur was like a christian kind place. His friend brother Bernanrd followed him to a cave where there was a real dragon named Grockle . Then in the artic a being called the fain took a piece of the ice and  threw it at David and in midair it turned into a ice spear and stabbed him in the heart. His girlfriend hold his head and he dies.

The book starts off with a reef shark named Gray. He lived near a reef and he lived in a shiver called coral. He gets hungry one day after he got grounded and eats  a lot of blue fin tuna while swimming away from the reef. He gets caught and then they decide his punishment in the some sort of  announcement area. They decide to banish him from the shiver. They said if he does well in the tuna run they will let him get back with them. He leaves the reef and his friend Barkley follows him to where Gray is going. A few days later they found some other sharks that weren’t in a shiver. There was three sharks their names were Mari, Snork, and Striiker. they asked them what they were doing Gray and Barkley said they were banned from the shiver and they invited  them to come to their group. Eventually they would get caught by Goblin shiver and they had to join the shiver. A few days later the break from the shiver and went to the tuna run and when they got in the run there was so much tuna they couldn’t see each other after the tuna run Takiza the legendary fighting fish found Gray and told he would train him. At the end his friends find out that he is a megalodon not a reef shark.

The book starts with a young man who is struggling in the ocean to land then a pen comes out of the clouds and it is from Athena and it draws a boat and he ends up on an island and he thinks it it Sticatha he drinks the water in a lake with some girl in it he said it taste really bad and she called the guards and they were golems and they threw him in the dungeon with other castaways. Meanwhile the girl the daughter of the sorcerer who ruled the island asked the sorcerer to let him tell the story about how he got here he finally said yes. The golems brought him to the sorcerer to tell the story. It started with his dad the king getting slain by a witch. Then the witch turns his brothers and sisters to crows then his uncle saved him and took him to a barren island where his dad’s sword is hidden under a huge rock. His uncle told him the day he could move the boulder he would be ready to fight. He left the island and went to another island he needed a way back to Sticatha and so he asked a captain of a ship to sail with him and he said only if he could paint the ship he did but the saltwater washed it off. Since the captain didn’t see it he had to row the ship with everybody and they said he was bad luck and made him sit with anther person who was bad luck . Eventually he got kicked off the ship and Thats he says that is how he got here. Then the sorcerer said he had to pick a blood lily on the mountain. So he climbed the mountain and met the hermit. Their fighting the sorcerer when the book continues.
