Welcome Everyone! Please add a country if it is not on the current blog roll. Simply sign in as Guest with the password guest. This account will allow you to start a new blog,  it will be treated like a student’s blog and must be reviewed by the teacher before it is posted.  The students chose the countries they researched for a number of reasons but are interested in hearing from people all over the world. Please write information that may be interesting to 9-11 year old children.  Thank you.

Hello visitors, In addition to our blog, and to further enhance this learning experience, I am  looking for teachers and students outside of the U.S. that might be willing to try  a video call through Skype with these 4th grade students.

If you are willing to participate, please leave your contact information in the comment section or contact me through our webpage at     http://bit.ly/biF2Xp

Sincere thanks, Kim Sivick

Thank-you for visiting our blog. These students are in 4th grade, ages 9-11, in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. The students have completed some very basic research to find their information and many are still working. The students are most interested in hearing from people in the country they have studied or from people that have traveled to that country.   We sincerely appreciate the time you have taken to comment to this blog and enhance the learning experience for these students.

When posting a comment please identify the geographic area you are from and let us know if you are a teacher or a student.

To navigate the site, click on “Titles” in the tan headings bar. This will sort the titles alphabetically. PLEASE change your settings to view 100 posts from all year so you may  scroll through the entire list.

Our webpage includes a visitor map, please help the students visualize the location of visitors by going to  this webpage:     4th Grade Culture Studies

Thanks again, Mrs. Sivick

Students,

This blog is a place for you to post information you have learned, ask questions and learn from each other. This blog will represent you and our school.

I will be asking guests from around the world to participate in this blog and enhance our learning experience. Please post your questions and I will do my best to locate someone from that country to answer your questions.
