1750- William Lee is born.

1768- Washington purchases Lee

1770- Lee goes on his first surveying expedition

1774- Lee attends the First Continental Congress in Philidelphia

1784- Lee’s free wife leaves him so she will stay free

1785- On a trip to a mail posting center Lee falls and breaks his knee

1789- Lee falls and breaks his other knee on a rock

1797- Washington retires and Lee becomes a shoe maker  for $30 a year

1799- Washington dies and and Lee is free but Lee wants to stay

1828- Lee takes his last breath and goes to heaven
