I can learn from my slave’s life that you always keep trying and never give up… He kept strong and finally bought his freedom because he finally got a good master.

Olaudah was never part of the Underground Railroad I got this

information in the book called: traveling the freedom road.

Olaudah Equiano was born in 1745 in guinea, in a western part of Africa.

He lived in guinea, but when he was 11 he was kidnapped and sold to native slaveholders. He then was sold again, to a white European slave trader. Equiano was transported with other slaves across the Atlantic Ocean to the English colony of Virginia.

Olaudah Equiano died at the age of 52 in 1797, In London UK.

Equiano was married to Susannah Cullen; they had 2 kids named Joanna Vassa and Anna Maria Vassa.

Equiano was a black African American, but he married to a white woman.

Equiano was an enslaved African America, he was not always a slave when he was ten he was kidnapped and sold to become a slave…

Equiano was sold to native slave holders. Then he was sold again, to white European slave traders. After having many masters, Equiano was transported with other enslaved Africans across the Atlantic Ocean to a English colony of Virginia. When he got there he was sold to Michael Pascal. Finally he was sold to Robert king.

One of Equiano most important time was in 1765 when his master promised him he could pay back his freedom for forty pounds. In Equianos early 20s he had bought his freedom.

Olaudah was importan because he was a prince and was kidnapped into slavery…
