Nat Turner was born October 2, 1800 in Southampton County Virginia as a enslaved boy. He had vision describing events that happened before he was born.

In 1821 he ran away from his overseer. He then returned after thirty days cause he had a vision. In 1822 his master Samuel Turner died, Nat was then sold to Thomas Moore.

In 1830 Mr.Turner was moved to Joseph Travis the husband of Thoma’s widow. Mr.Turner described Mr.Travis as a kind master.

In February, 1831 a eclipse happened. The  eclipse was a sign for Nat to start a rebellion.  Then he got four men together Henry, Hark, Nelson, and Sam.  That same year Nat got ill and they had to put down the rebellion for a while.

August 13 there was a disturbance which made the sun blue-ish green. This was the final sign for Nat.A week later on August 21Nat got six men and they met in the woods for a dinner and to discuss there planing. At 2:00 in the morning they got into the household and killed the entire family while they sleeped. They went from house to house killing every body.

On August 22 at mid-day Nat was going to try to take over a town, but the word of there small army had spread. They sleeped in slaves cabin in the nights. Then they attacked a house but were repulsed. One of the blackmen died and the others ranaway in cluding Turner.

Turner hid in many different places on Travis farm but on October 30 it was discoverd and he was captured. On November 11 Nat Turner was hanged and skinned.

This weekend my mom asked me if I wanted to spend the night at my uncles house and I said “ya “. Then my mom dropped me off at my uncles. My uncle has three kids – two boys Christian is 16 and Jonathon is 15. My uncles third child is Elizabeth and she is 13. When I got there my cousins Chris and Jonathon were playing their xbox360. They asked me if I wanted to play but I said no thanks. After three hours or so we ate dinner. Then when it was 10:30. we had to got to bed. That’s how I spended my weekend.
